Rebecca is the same NPC that will "swap" the earrings for Non Druid or also recharge the "unloaded" ones.

That is around 250pp EACH item.

I'm not sure where you'll find all of those, I seem to have bought up the last of the stock in several places. Someone's bound to have them for sale, good luck with it!"

Rebecca Cabbageleaf smiles warmly, "Brilliant, you've brought me some more supplies! Here, please take this last copy I've made. I'd planned to use it for myself, but I'll let you use it so you don't have to wait for me to make a new one. I do hope you enjoy it!"

Blessed Parchment is purchased in Rivervale. The merchant's name is Byl Babbinsbort at loc -140, -120.

Dark Root Ink is purchased in Greater Faydark at Kelethin. Near the druid guild is a store called Bilrib's Smithy. Instead of going through the door, edge around the right side of the building where you'll find Bilrio Surecut at loc 645, 385.

Stormraven Quill is purchased in Surefall Glade in the druid guild. The building has a sign which reads Jaggedpine Treefolk. At the back counter is a merchant named Sequea Erthinon who sells the quill.

I paid roughly 284pp for the parchment, 252pp for the ink, and 261pp for the quill. This was with 100+ charisma and with apprehensive, ally, and amiable faction respectively. (I'm a Wood Elf so naturally the Kelethin folks will like me more).

Your price may vary depending on charisma or faction, but expect to pay between 750-800pp for this spell.

The reward is a spell scroll:

Protection of the Cabbage (NO DROP)
Level 59, 500 mana
Single-target version of Protection of the Glades

SG: Port in, turn around, 1st building on your right as you exit the tree.

RV: Across from bank entrance, open door down into a little hobbit hole, to the right.

GFay: On the right hand side ledge of the little hut just to the right of the Druid guild.

So, PotC, 800pp, 15 minutes. Now THAT'S what this quest should be! Well done VI!

Much better. I wish the spell would be droppable from the longer quest now too. I'll do this version first, but someday I may want the earrng as well, and it would be a waste to see the spell destroyed.

what lvls can do this quest?

Presumably any level can do the quest but the result is a level 59 NO DROP spell. So you might as well just wait til you're 59 to do it. :)

Is this quest multiable? On pvp server, I am dubious to kele merchants and therefore they will not sell to me. And,,, it seems there are quests which you can raise faction with merchants of all cities ,,, except kele. there are quests to raise kele merchant faction. but they are very lengthy and raise very slowly. would take months to raise it.

If you have racial sneak, use the "rogue handshake" to buy. If you are sneaking and behind a mob, you are always indifferent. Buying does not break sneak. Sneak, walk behind the vendor, and you can buy. If you are not indiff, your sneak failed - try again.

does anyone know how to raise faction with byl babbinsbort? i have the other 2 components but i cant buy the blessed parchment because im dubious. please help i really want this spell

Same problem here, I can't by the parchment. I tried slaughtering orcs and goblins, but that didn't help. This is pissing me off. Anyone know how, as a race without sneak/hide, I can get the parchment?

Start conversation with merchant, and have a group member cast invis on you after the merchant window is opened. Should make you con indiff, unless the merchant can see invis.

For those needing better faction with the Rivervale merchant.

Killing orcs and goblins will raise faction with Rivervale Guards, but not merchants.

To raise merchant faction you need to do the quests where you turn in goblin beads to the Sheriff upstairs in the Bank or Deathfist belts to Deputy Budo in the room on the wall in Misty Thicket. (When approaching the wall from Rivervale, Budo is in the guard room on the left of the door through the wall.)

Dont know too much about luclin. whats the fastest and safest way to fungus grove from the bazaar, i have all port spells. any help would be great?

Hmm, Hey all. I did the trun in for the Earring of the Solstice today, got the FT1 earring and right after that I also got this spell. I'm only 40 level, and didn't expect to see it, but I have it now in the bank......just putting that out since it seemed strange to get it...
