Has anyone ever gotton a Command of Tunare charm off on the frogs at the ZI? I've tried before but always got a "too high" message. Was wondering if their levels varied and maybe get a lucky one. Would make one sweet camp spot by far if you could.

The frogs at zone in are too high for Command of Tunare, but I do see Druids and Rangers quadding/root dotting/bow kiting them quite a lot.

only seen someone pull them once and it was an enchanter in my group when we were waiting at zonein...he wanted to test them, so he did...3 assisted the frog and the humans as well, he got ganged badly.

Anyone else have similar/diff experiences with those frogs? I dont know if you could harmony all the potential assists, but I'm wondering if that is what the rangers and druids that you speak of did to get them single.

the humans assist the frogs ... not sure if it's same deal vice versa but the frogs of course assist eachother. The two frogs on either end of that set of mobs are generally far out enough (particularly the one on the left) that you can pull them single with a little caution... the two frogs towards the middle are closer though so can take some extra effort.

Once you get the idea of the assist range it is completely possible to pull singles for rotting or by grabbing the two middle ones with some good harmonizing you can pull them to the river and then come and back harmony the human closest to one of the side frogs and pull them out one at a time to add towards a quad.

I've been trying the PoS frogs at Zone in and I can say without a doubt the humans do NOT assist. As far as I could tell there were 3 frogs outside. One close to the cave mouth and two on either side of a tree. 1 human each behind the spikes and another at the cave mouth.
My first try I pulled the one closest to me, the one on the side of the tree, and it added the other frog. No humans came. I rotted it dead while I kept the other rooted, then killed that one. No snakes, bears, trees or anything assisted the frogs, even if they walked right through them.
My second time I harmonied the further away frog on the other side of the tree no probs, and pulled the closest frog without complication.
These frogs are all level 61 (or at least all the time I was there that is the level of the frogs that spawned) and none summoned. I tried the drenched and hurricane nopto (I think that was their name) and killed them both with the same difficulty (ease?).
They have some medium range MR (I could get up to 5 root resists in a row or root would last on the first try the full amount) and some serious HP. Snare has landed on them first try when I was pulling, although when I tried to refresh it I would get a few resists.
All in all nice mobs to solo if you have Kei. Good Exp, great AA xp, and the chance of ethereal parchments (I got one on my 3rd kill).

The humans do assist the frogs at entrance. The humans are casters. If you run off with a frog non snared, the humans will stop to cast eventually, and if you keep running, you may not even know you had one along for the ride.
Possibly with max ally they don't assist tho? Not bothered to check if I am or not.

If you want to test it, go stand in the middle of the humans and cast on a frog. Be ready to run real fast tho ...

I screwed up one day and either didnt harmony one or something and 2 of the men lit me up and killed me so fast I thought I had been DTed.

I brought a charmed frog to ZI to kill some of those frogs that don't summon as i didn't wanna risk a death at the time. Well, those dumb humans decided to agro and just wouldnt stop to cast, so i told my frog to eat them... and he did just that! Mwauhaha that'll teach em to agro me.

Unfortunally you loose Aksr the Lost faction, isnt really needed that much, but im still kindly hehe.

Well those humans never aggroed on me. I've been pulling those frogs for days now and I've never had any problem. /shrug
And I'm not running away to get out of their reach either. I dunno, must be some bug that follows me around, like the one that summons me when no damage has been done to a mob...
At least I know I can continue pulling em no probs :P
