I have been killing wolves and giants, and done a few hand-ins, and have become Dubious to CoV. Not being KoS I decided to try out CS. Trouble is, the wyverns and drakes assist each other. If I'm doing a wyvern and a drake flies by, it will assist. A friend of mine also cons Dubious, and he can park a wyvern in a drake's path, but the drake does not agro him. He has done more faction work than I have, but since he's still Dubious like me, I didn't think there would be a difference. I'm level 51, and he's 53 - I just cannot imagine that being the reason for it. Does anyone have any idea about what is wrong?

It's his level. He's high enough that they won't be social (yvolcarn/azurake still will), you're not.

Yeah, you have to watch out for that. Try going to the safe rock (the one in the middel at the end of the ridge. This will get rid of the drakes..

Then use harmony and pull to the rock... And rot (so your not moving...)

but all in all... in a level or 2 you will do great here... Lots harder now... might not be worth it.

IMO it is not your level, it is your faction. The higher faction you get the easier it is to kill there. At ally, I was able to kill a wyvern and have a drake fly on top of me and not aggro. I'm thinking once you get to warmly maybe then you wont get any of the other CoV mobs to assist each other. But until then you should pull singles to the beach area to avoid adds.

Yvolcarn will always assist though so be careful.

oh and make sure that you are in wolf form I do believe that makes a difference also..

Learn the zone, learn where you can kill something without a drake pathing close, and you can have lots of fun hunting there even while KoS to CoV.

Yup, it will drop you faction to KoS. ;)

Wolfform in Velious generally lowers your 1 faction level. If your dubius now, you'll go threatningly.

What you need to do is LEV, Regen and fresh sow, then after you snare your mob, drag him down onto the beach and have a ball. I never ever quad up top on the cliff unless I'm quadding Bulthars.
