Every time I zone into Mons Letalis I see this guy on track just taunting me to kill him. I've tried taking him out but failed. I charmed a mature rockhoppper, brought him all the way up that tower, finally got it to the spire lord and the lord tore my pet apart (also got an add but wasnt a big deal).

I was wondering if any 60 Druids were able to solo him and what strat did they use to do it. I'm not even sure what loot he drops, I just like to try new things.

I've tried it this way, and probably would have pulled it off if I didn't always agro a stonegrabber:

Go to the valley below the zone in to the grey. Lots of rockhoppers path through here, charm a mature one, toss haste and any other buffs you want on him. Have him sit down/guard there, then run over to the tower. Either keep clicking in the spire lord's area, or use /target The_Spire_Lord. Once targeted, pull with WD, DoD, or whatever will cast at such a long distance. (this is the point I always seem to agro a stonegrabber, then the lord catches up and both start beating on me so I evac :p ) Once the lord is on you, just bring him over to your rockhopper. Now you have a few options. Agro kite the lord while the hopper beats on him from behind, let the hopper fight him while you keep him healed, or let him do what he can against the lord and when he dies charm another rockhopper nearby and send him in. With the last tactic you could keep a few rockhoppers rooted near your charmed one before even pulling the lord, so when your pet dies there's another hopper right there ready to charm. Either way as long as you don't get the attention of a stonegrabber or shiknar, killing the lord should be very doable. Too bad his loot pretty much sucks. :p

You can no longer pull him from below,the platform interferes with casting.

FYI. He's immune to snare/root/slow, and flurries. doesn't summon.

I've killed him 3 times, just charm a rockhopper (ancient if you can get it, mature otherwise, or mature if you have DC), and fight your way up the spire.
