Hmmmm, I guess before we can answer this question we need to know how much money you have?

Regular starting druid info - Put Max points into wisdom as you can. Distribute the remainder into whatever stat you would like.

Places to Level (or at least the way I did it)

Levels 1 - 3 Undead Ruins near Kelethin

Levels 4 - 6 Orc Hill (Collect those CB Belts)

Levels 7 - 9 Crushbone / Buthcherblock Chessboard

Levels 10 - 13 Northern Desert of Ro - Fighting Dervs

Levels 14 - 19 Oasis (start practicing the finely honed skill of Kiting now that you have SoW)

Levels 19 - 27 Lake of Ill Omen

Levels 28 - 30 Frontier Mountains

Levels 31 - 34 Tizmaks in the Great Divide

Levels 34+ QUAD KITE (Check the many posts on the board)

Now for starting equipment, lets say you have a reasonable 5k to twink yourself with.

Charred Gaurdian Sheild - 450pp
Gatorscale Leggings - 600pp
Foreman's Tunic - 500pp
Ulthork Hide Arms - 150pp
Split Paw Hide Gloves - 10pp
Chipped Bone Braclets - 200pp each (I think)
Forest Loops - 300pp each
Velium Etched Stone Mace - 7 - 800pp
Platinum Ruby Veil - 600pp
Dwarven Work Boots - 400pp
See if you can get a set of Braided Ivory Cords to finish it off.

May not be the best equipment. But it's a darn nice start for a twink druid.

Ack throw some dungeons in there please. We have enough druids that dont know how to operate in dungeons as it is, lets not encourage another one.

Paw is also good from 29-45 and an absolute blast with a good group.

Being a relative newbie (on this board anyway =), a Wood Elf Druid L7, I've read this thread with interest. You mentioned some equipment with the appropriate prizes, wat what do you exactly mean with PP? Pieces of Platinum?

Yes. More specifically, "platinum pieces". =)

This made me smile. There's still new players out there. The one piece of advice I'd give you..alot of the fun in being a druid is you can go anywhere and try almost anything. The places listed above are good for experience grinding, but man..with all the expansions out there and a true fresh perspective..once you get SoW, go explore. If they're red leave em alone, If they're blue kill them. There's always a zone along that wall someplace.

Aye does make you feel good knowing there are true new druids/players out there. Simple advice in being a druid is...

1) Snare... best spell you will ever buy in the whole game... learn it use it.

2) Remember you will never be the best at anything.. but are the best at doing almost anything. If it doesn't work one way.. try another way. Usually you find a tactic that works.

3) Learn what each of your spells do, how long they take to cast, how far away you need to be and how much mana they take. Have found that almost everyone of our spells has a use somewhere for something. If you know what they do, you will know when to use them.

And Finally 4) Being druid isn't for everyone... the game is supposed to be fun.. so do what is fun. If you find that being a druid isn't your way... try another class. :)

Hunting ideas.

With ports and binding masters available.. remember you are not restricted to just around Kelethin.

Qeynos hills and Blackburrow are easy pretty much deserted these days for the first 10 or so levels.

10-15th you also have Everfrost plains.

15-20th or so you have the Gorge.

Remember there are a lot of places out there that many forget about.... if they are forgotten that means you have plenty of things to kill and plenty of room. :)

Hope this helps you.. and good luck.
