This weekend a friend of mine was playing an alt and asked me if I would buff him so I gave him the standard buffs for a sub 30 toon wishing to level fast. He latter goes man why didn't you give me the good thorns. I proceded to ask what the hell are you talking about I gave you the best you can have on a toon of that level and that 29 points a hit was all he can get from a druid at that level. He returns so then why didn't you give me that one I only have the one doing 24 points. I couldn't believe this so I botted a second account and sure enough the level 49 thorns only did 24 points a hit.

yeah, it's always done 24 points of damage. You might be confused because you remember seeing the messages of yourself with the thorns..but you also had your self-only DS thorncoat AC buff on which stacks with standard thorns and adds 5 pt DS...giving you 29.
