Ok I just tried in Tranquiliy, Inovation, Disease and Nightmare to use Spirit of Ash and got You are unable to change form here. Don't tell me all the planes restrict treeform? We have a wonderfull FT4 Spirit of Oak that is utterly usless?

No real trees in the zone that you could transform into. They're planar trees, for the zones that have them. And druids of course, are not skilled enough in tree shifting to be able to turn into anything but plain old school trees.

Umm, umm, yeah.
Good news is that it no longer overwrites sow.
I think the last time I actually used the spell, was when I was bored, and tried to write my name with tree corpses in the snow. The cleric who was keeling me was stunning me and moving me all over the place, so that did not work out all that well either.

It also won't stack with PotG+, and I think the mask line.

To be able to gain FT4 which doesn't stack with other mana regens we get (which are higher regen) and to be rooted in one spot, why thats just too unbalancing.
/sarcasm off
It would actually be worth casting this spell if it stacks with every other mana regen buff we get. I mean being rooted in one place has got to have some benefits (I guess you could use the horse arguement as a precedent)

I so understand you on this. I waited and finally got my 59 tree form when I was 59. I was thrilled. Then Luclin came out and I could not use it in Luclin. Then I got cabbage and could not use it with cabbage. Now I absolutely never use it. No reason to. Basically, once you get cabbage you don't need it since it will not stack. It pretty much is one worthless, useless spell....along with a bunch of others we have.
Treeform I used like crazy when I first started out. But that is not compatible with any of the new zones from Luclin on.

i just go to newbie zones and sit and buff people , if they dont look at me, they usually have NO idea where the buffs came from. It's funny.

I usually am bound close to where I hunt or I am hunting near a portal.
So,,, right I click Rowel's Greeves, land in Misty Thicket, cast Spirit, med to full and gate back.
I regen manna faster doing that, then sitting around doing nothing. ;)

Well for old school outdoor raids Treeform is great. I been meaning to set up a druid channel on a guild raid - get us all ready to treeform - do a /gu NINJA TREEFORM - and watch the guild's reaction :D

Why do most illusions mean nothing to most NPC(s)? Like treeform, the other players see us as a tree, harmless, just sitting there rooted in the ground, how come NPC(s) don't see us as just that, TREES? One would think that absolutely everyone would be indifferent to trees!

Kinda odd I found this here, I sent /feedback tonight that Oak not stacking with Potc/Potg is just rediculous. I suggest we all do the same. If it stacked i might actually use it when grouped or something.
