Is there any way to build a list showing each spell's relevant hate/aggro gained when casting on a mob.

We'd need two columns, one for when the spell stuck, one for when it was resisted.

That would help me manage my aggro a bit better in groups.

I've been trying to do it in game without using stats, but I can see that I need help with it. Need to do more research, and from what I've seen on Lucy.net, the raw data doesn't really show what I'm looking for, afaik.

Or if someone could point me to a thread in which this was already done/taken care of.

I don't think anyone really knows specific numbers for this. Hate list info is server-side, so even people using packet sniffer type programs wouldn't be able to figure much out... Only way would be observation.

Its been my experience that spells generate the same amount of hate whether resisted or not /shrug.

Yeah the only real way to get any type of reliably close estimate of hate generated would be to maybe have yourself and a sk cast on a mob and compare the hate generated by your spell vs. the hate generated by their raw hate spells (the values for those are known)

And in my experience resisted vs. not resisted normally seems the same.

Best you could probably do is list it by spell and rate it high | medium | low

Of hand can think of

the swarm line dots - low
nature's infusion - high
other heals -medium/low
snare - high
root - low (root has specific aggro rules when it's on though)
most nukes - medium
rain spells - medium/low
debuffs (including ro/immolate dots) - high
charm - high
glamour - is iffy... would say medium

*shrug*

Also, another big thing is sit aggro (horses are great for this in a grp)... there are certain spells that combined with sit aggro is a surefire way to get the attn of mob.
