Conflicting reports on this one. For those that have it, is this an AoE root or single target? If the latter, have you found it to be of any greater value than Earthen or Engorging?

Single Target, much longer duration (4.5 minutes max I believe) and has the -30 MR check.

The 61 seems to work better for me, and costs less. I haven't done extensive testing, but after about 20 casts with savage root, they seemed to break a lot faster than 61 root when rooting 65s in Doomfire.

Actually, the level 61 root (Earthen Roots) costs *double* the mana of the level 64 one (Savage Roots) :p

Earthen Roots is 1 min duration but has a 1.8 sec fast cast time... i usually perma-mem savage roots myself..

i love the free savage root on my ornate plane panties ... but the look is crappy :cool: ... i normally use the 56 or the 61 root as a starter and recast savage root in the root/dot procedure )
... maybe i am wrong, but i´ve the feeling that the 56 root holds better then savage root.
