So I got one of these items with the premise that my DD damage would "increase".

What sort of damage increase would one see or am I just off base with my expectation?

If you feel you can sacrifice having IDIV on your fire nukes, you can increase to 26% ID on cold nukes with a Ceramic Rod of Storms. Easier to get hold of componants or ready made rod, but no stats to speak of.

It took me 5 months to find the 3 elemental drops for the Burner, altho they are marginally more common now. Good Luck in your search :)

Actually, the Ceramic Rod of Storms is 23% increase to cold DD, at least according to Lucy, not 26. So it's only a 3% increase over ID IV.

I had one of those Incense burners. It's nice, but not worth the 150k or so that people are asking for. Personally, I use the Rod now for my cold nukes and I'll find another way to add to my Fire nukes. Since I'm often on raids when I need nukes, I request mage summoned items (Like the ring and bracer). You can often buy those at the bazaar anyway.

I got it for 100k but that isn't the problem

Last night I found that the mage bracer is "better".

That was a bit frustrating.

Regardless, I still think it is a very very nice range slot item.

I'd even wager to say one of the best dropable druid range items :) . I had a iron scroll of war but I like this item better :p

Mage bracer is the same exact thing, 20% dmg to all nukes

It seems to me that the mage bracer is "up to" 20% increased dmg on nukes, as it does not appear to be a consistent increase but rather random. Am I wrong here?

It's all dependant on the RNG, but it is pretty rare to get a full on 20% increase, but I tend to get between 15-19% a lot tho with the Mage Bracer.

All improved dmg focus, ie. Imp dmg 4, mage bracer, fury of ro etc are random and never do a fixed increase. Only difference is the maximum increase in dmg they can do.
