I'd like to get a list started of what items are available to druids, which have Focus effects (4) on them. With drop locations, and whether they can be bought. I'm sure it would help us all.

Big list, especially if you consider all the whacky named focus items from VT.

Only droppable items I can think of are the ceramics (lots of choices here) and ornate scepter (anger of E'ci), oh, and some pieces of ornate armor.

There are more tradeable level 4 focus items than that...

Wind Worn Luckstone for Extended Range IV.
Falchion of Flowing Water or Wrulon Eye for Affliction Efficiency IV.
Valorian Insignia or Writ of Wisdom for Focus of Mithaniel.
etc.

Yeah, anyway, those were the only ones i could think of at 3 am.

Nope, don't know of a single list. I rely on lucy.fnord.net (http://lucy.fnord.net) to find out what druid usable focus items there. When I want a particular effect, like say improved damage, I search for a focus effect that I know has improved damage, such as Improved Damage I:

I click on "Stacking" to see what other focus effects increase damage:

Then I click on effects from the list that look promising. For example, looking down I see Anger of Ro:

From the spell effects I see this increases damage done by fire based dd spells by 23%, and works on spells up to level 65.
At the bottom of the page is "Items With Spell". I see 3 items: Carved Jetsam Short Staff, Flickering Powersource, and Putrid Eye of the Possessed. Clicking on each one I see that the Carved Jetsam Short Staff is druid usable while the other two aren't.

Then usually I try to look up the item on allakhazam to see what's involved in getting the item...unless it has such a large hp bonus that I can just assume it came from elemental planes.

(Sorry if you already knew how to use lucy...it's a great resource for anyone doing research on items or spells.)

Lucy is listing the effect on the crown as Focus of Mediocrity, which is only 15% Extended duration, and charms are excluded. I didn't see Aura of Mediocrity listed anywhere. Are you thinking of a different effect?
