I have almost a full set of rowyls. My question is if I go to UP and hunt Elysian is the armor there better than what I have?

yes.

Keep the Rowyl's bracer/s, they're better than Elysian. Coldain skin gloves are better than both Elysian and Rowyl's. Bag the BP and wear elysian, but keep the rotg click, same for pants and boots if you find yourself using them. Arms Elysian is better. Head Elysian is better stats but looks like poo.

I would say if your Dwagon faction is good, can the Elysian/Rowyl's for head and do the Circlet of Falinkan quest. You need four drops, three of which are off of giants in relatively easy areas (if you've got full Rowyl's, you've probably been in Arena raids, neh?), and the fourth drop comes from a named entropy serpent in DN, which can be gotten to by one good group. Nice stats on Circlet and no graphic, which is nice. :)

Just to throw in another option. Ever the tradeskill fiend that I am I might suggest Tunarean Soldier Armor as an alternative to either the Rowyl's or the Elysian. Stats are not exactly up to Elysian par, but close and the look sure is pretty - emerald green chain.

No one on my server can make Tunarean Soldier armor, well, if they can they're not publicly making any.

I wouldn't mind one of the belts, ah well.

That stuff is darn expensive. i almost bought the Belt for 10k the other day. But the rest is insane.
