I'm not sure what necklace I want to wear now after having gotten 2 upgrades over the weekend.

I love my Warden Symbol of Tunare (7 ac 3 wis 15 mana 2 cha, clickable grasping roots), probably keep it on while soloing (unless I'm wearing my amulet of the grey wastes for EB purposes anyways). However, I got 2 upgrades for my resist setup (over the old serpent insignia collar I had, 5 sv all, all/all usable, droppable, no one wants to buy =p)

Choice 1) Rough Silver Chain, result of a painfully annoying quest, 5 ac 30 hp/mana, 5 sv all, priest/caster/all, no drop

Choice 2) Medallion of Life, drop off a Xi Vius in Maiden's Eye (which really aren't too bad to solo if you can single pull them, more than 1 HT is bad, assuming you have decent resists in place to resist their fear and snare anyways, the rest of the dot's and the lifetaps can be ignored if you've got chloro/regrowth up, which you should anyways to suck up the HT), 10 ac 5 str 50 mana 5 sv all, priest/caster/all, no drop.

I really can't see a distinct superiority of either necklace for resist situations, they've both got the same resists, so that doesn't help, the medallion has more ac, which is fairly useless in any situation that I'd be wearing it for resists anyways, more str, which is also useless, more mana, which is definitely useful, but less hp, which I also like having since I have a tendency to get hit for whatever reason.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Yeah, the shrouded medallion would be great, except for one *minor* little issue.

Not sure I understand the question... you post these as your choices but the second choice offers 5str and 20 more mana for the loss of 30 hp? As a Druid hp are nice but you will seldom benefit from 30hp and yet the str would always be better for encumberment as well as 20 extra mana might allow you the room for one spare spell without med kiting for it. Pretty cut and dry to me (shrug)

I use Shrouded Medallion and Karkonas Talisman (7/6) - I actually wear Karkonas most often due to mana/hps over all, but without that shrouded really cant be beat.
