As you can see I reopened the Community Chest for EZboards -

We were going to try to move to the new boards but at this point there are still some issues and bugs we need to work out. So instead of pushing everyone over to the new boards at this time - we are going to spare you this agony and continue on with EZboards for another 3 months.

During this time we will be concentrating on cleaning up the code and getting the cache problems fixed. From what I can tell this is a common problem but once it’s cleaned up (from looking at other large boards; EQTraders.com) it seems to work fine.

We also didn't want to lose the information on this board and I been figuring out the scripts to move all the info from this board over to the new forums. (Works great for the first page, but doesn't like to transfer the rest of the pages for each section).

So at this point we are asking for your support to continue on with Gold Status till we can get the forums and new website up to our standards before we transition to a less expensive BB.

We currently have 70.00 in the Community Chest - Please show your support for the board that you enjoy reading, skimming or just want to call your home.

Goal reached! That was probably one of the shortest runs of the community chest I've ever seen. Thanks to all the people who've donated (http://pub149.ezboard.com/bthedruidsgrove.viewMyCommunityChestContributions? page=all) through the years. Before October 5th, we're planning on being off this EZBoard boat and on to our new PHP boards.

Figured I'd throw my 2 cents in about the cache problems.

Apperently it's a PHP and Apache 2.0 bug. Apach 1.3 works fine. I'm switching my guild from Ezboard to PHP on our own server, we ran into that problem.

Just wanted to publically thank you for this information - we upgraded to the latest version (2 weeks old) and like you said that was the problem and the cache problem is fixed.

- We are now working on the transfer script.
