My Team is the Mets. My Football team is the Jets. With Football just starting I'm already looking for baseball in 2004. Sad Huh.

Go Sox! Kill, that dam curse!

Too painful.

On my way to work, I was listening to Mike and The Maddog. This part of the show I 100% agreed with.

What was best for baseball didn't happen. Noone cares about the florida and noone really cares to watch the Yankees win again. I bet you even the Yankees fans won't even watch the series, they already know who's winning.

Atleast with a Cubs/RedSox series the interest in baseball would've been reborn.

Any person who liked baseball would watch that series. Both teams in there own right are loveable teams.

In game one for the World Series, here's the ERA match up. Yanks 1.(something). florida 10.(something). Yes I did say a ERA of 10.

I was on leave with some buddies in Vegas last week. Watched the game from the Sports Book in the MGM Grand. Of us Sox fans that were there, when the score was 5-3, you could feel the excitement when Pedro (barely) got out of the 7th, but you could also see it on all of our faces. That "Oh please, if there is a God, let him help this team to not let us down. Again." Then Grady Little went out to the mound with two on in the 8th and the rest is history.

We love the Red Sox, but apparently they hate us. I'm still recovering from that game, though I doubt I ever fully will. Again.

Go Marlins, I guess. /yawn

That's ludicrous to say, I won't be missing a pitch of the series and am a diehard Yankees fan.

Naw, it's not ludicrous to say. "fan" Doesn't mean a die hard fan. There are many levels to a fan. A diehard fan will watch no matter what. I'm talking about those people who follow the team, once in a blue moon, and say they are fans. :)

Rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for the house in blackjack.

(yes, I took that form an e-mail to Bill Simmons)
