Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to everquest and my level 40 druid is my main character. It seems like I have been stuck at level 40 forever. I have been hunting in Dreadlands for several levels now and am really bored with it. I have several questions that I need answered.

1. I have reviewed the hunting guide for levels 40-50, but there seems to be a lack of zones to find a group in and hunt from 40-45. Can you please tell me where to go to get good experience grouping for these levels? And can you tell me how many hours of play it should take to level at these zones?

2. I read on here that a lot of you like to solo. I feel like I must be doing something wrong when I solo or my expectation for experience is just too high. It seems to take me like 6-7 hours to level when I solo. I spend all of me time medding and little fighting. Am I doing something wrong? My wisdom is 190. I typically root/rot but I have tried quadding.

3. If I am fighting with a group that contains people of a higher level than me, does this give me less experience per kill?

Thank you for your time!!

I used Eastern Wastes to Solo from 40 - 52.

Soloing isn't the fastest way to get levels but it's certainly a better option than sitting waiting for a group. You may find exp comes faster in pickup LDoN groups.

Soloing experience rate, I always considered like 1 bubble of experience an hour to be a good rate, except in hell levels (when they were in), then it was half a bubble an hour. Though, I'd think you could make experience faster now solo. I believe some of the LoY zones are good for your level, but unfortunently I'm not sure which, as I just finnaly got it the other day =-p
