Just wondering cause I am out of stuff to read. my normal reading is druidsgrove, my server forum, my guild forum, spawn week or mobhunter to check for any new articles. I can finish them in less than 30 minutes. After that I get really really bored. =p Other class forums don't work excatly right cause I don't play them and is really confusing lol. Like heck I suppose to know difference on rogue dps bettween weapon 1 and weapon 2 =p Please Share !

Crime and Punishment, Dostoyevsky at the moment. Talk about a great book: it could have been created last week, instead of 1865. Don't judge the book by its proverbial cover; it's a seriously enjoyable read.

Of course, I'd always recommend Metamorphoses by Ovid to anyone that hasn't read it and has time to devour possibly the single-most enjoyable and important book of western literature (in my humble onion). Treat yourself.

I normally dont read maja's guild website often, but i happened upon it because he went and registered on mine, and

DISCLAIMER!!!! I am in no way supporting a change to or nerfing of feign death, but Thott's (may he die and rot forever for stealing fading memories from enchanters) 3 short stories about monks/bards and feign death is the funniest eq parody i've ever read... ever... period.

Personally I thought it was stupid, pointless, and petty.

Plenty of other places to discuss that though, lets just forget it was mentioned here, shall we? 8)

Strong Bad (on Monday's)
The Onion (on Wednesday's)
lileks.com (weekday blog...interesting guy - been reading him for years)

tdg, gu comics (tho not the boards - Woody's a great guy and all, but jeez people...), wtf (again, not the boards)...prexus boards (best - flameboard - ever), eqtraders, and a particular guild board on prexus who's webmaster is a complete @sshole and proud of it (give it up for AAMMER! /ping) - he'll write up something really stupid once a month or so and then post screenshots of what people say with commentary...hysterical, rude, toilet humor...

I tried to get into my current server board, but /zzzzz....

*edit*
Oh and I'm rereading Atlas Shrugged. But I'm gonna have to check out Ovid - thanks Lotus!

Ayn Rand! Good choice :)

Chenier actually spends most of her time cybering (how could she possibly have time left after me?)

Graffe's board is the best EQ forum out there IMO. The Off Topic forum there is excellent. Unfortunately, their site has been down the last couple of weeks :(

The FoH boards are hit and miss. There's some good info and debates on EQ and WoW but you have to wade through posts by dozens of morons who like to demonstrate their lack of talent in flaming to find the useful stuff. The Milly's Movie House forum is cool.

Something Awful has hilarious movie and hentai game reviews. I almost choked laughing out loud at the Cliff Yablonski section.

Other sites that make good reading:
The Onion
Tom's Hardware Guide
The Safehouse forums
Slashdot.org

I read my guild's board, and all the other EP guilds on my server. Here of course as well as EQ Druids. Avid poster and reader of EQ Traders. Caster's Realm. EQ Necro's /ducks Few other EQ Related sites as well.

...And I used to love reading books irl, wonder why I don't know. :p

Atlas Shrugged, huh? To each their own I guess, but that was exponentially the most boring and repetitive thing I have ever read.

Currently reading Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. She seems to be getting more and more into tormented yet passionate anti-heros and less into the devil may care characters that I've really enjoyed. Admitedly, I've only started so time will tell if this new guy is as engaging as Lestat.

I tend to re-read some old favorites. Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlien is a particular favorite.

On another note. Paperback books are costing in the order of $7-$10 now! Considering how many books I go through, it adds up to a nice chunk of change.

/sigh

I guess it's just the price I pay for knowing how to read.

Not for the faint of heart... err... mind,

Try this article (http://www.kurzweilai.net/articles/art0134.html?printable=1) on for size.

I don't agree with much of it, but it is an interesting read.
