Hi all, recently looted Rightiousness, off Rhag 1

Its in my megelo work wont let me see the site.

Thinking of upgrading to the Orb of Delightful Magic.

using magelo, it would give me about 25hp more and about 30 mana.

But the hammer was free, and the Orb is about 15k.

I dont really melee alot , just when i am trying to beat down the last % on a mob.

Is it giong to be worth it for me to get orb, or should i wait for something better to drop and ask for it with merit points?

Do some adventures. The Orb is a fun little weapon with a 320 proc. With maxxed nukeing AAs, it procs 640 enough that I take it out in exp groups for fun. Personally, I would never pay DKP for a weapon upgrade unless it was significant indeed. Let the Rhag loot go to someone else and just wait for your orb.

Btw, epic is still better than both, stat wise. You never mentioned what you were upgrading from.

Sorry . from rightiousness. I transfered servers and no longer have my epic , nor do i want to go for it again.

I bet I could redo my entire epic, solo, on Veehsan in a day at lvl 65. Then hit Fay the first time I had a couple of the right classes handy. That's beside the point, since apparenty you are not going to repeat the epic :)

I would go for the Orb at your first chance. Too common to buy IMO.

You would prolly need help with frog and VSR as well. Frog might be porcupinable be I doubt VSR is.

don't think uulump would be porcupinable. too many damn hp, and he flees.

but anyone remotely melee could tank him for ya, probably. monk, beast, rogue, ranger, sk, bard, war, pal... possibly even a cleric if their hammer proc would land.

if you want the orb, just do a couple ldon everfrost adventures, its how i got mine. I personally dont have my epic cuz im just too lazy and dont feel its a big deal, so i was using a prelates lantern before. I like toys however so i switched to a copper hammer of striking, and then got the delightful orb off of a named in everfrost.

ps. the blood in ssra drops a decent 19/21(23?) 1hb thats better than epic and procs negative hate.

absolutely /owns when you manage to proc on first swing! /cackle

Druids running around with 7khp, 7kmana buffed could prolly tank the frog. He doesn't hit that hard and with Hand, he tends to hit for minimum. And snare will land on him if you cast it enough times.

Of course, it begs the question ... What would a 7khp/7kmana druid do with a NWS?
