Just a nettiquette thing I wish more people would pick up on... if you've got a long signature, please don't include it with every posting. It gets annoying scrolling half a page to read your one line posting. When you get 5 or six people posting one line replies with these enormous signatures it's just a lot of scrolling for every little reading.

Uncheck the box at the bottom of your posting area that says "Include custom signature". Or change your signature posting option so it'll default to off, but you can click it on occassionally.

But yeah, I agree with you Pan...the guild was in on Prexus was famous for it's sigs, so msg threads got really long. I try only have my sig in one post in a thread.

The sigs that piss me off are the ones with quotes or sayings that obviously an inside joke...hi, I don't care that I don't know what the heck you're talking about.

I was thinking about redoing my sig to be at a 1600x1280, 32-bit true color, surround sound Flash movie.

I didn't intend to derail so badly :)

Some signatures are truly works of art (re: Chenier's & Stormy), but some of the uncompressed, look-I-know-HTML monstrosities are hard on my DSL. I can't imagine the effect on a dialup line.

Any sig that makes my computer swap memory to disk is...a bit much.

Ok, I have a wicked one.

At a Chardok raid, I was...irked...at a Wizard. So, I made it my personal goal to get every killshot, lol. I would say I got 4 out of 5, excluding bosses.

It's not that hard, sort of like timing a CH. The fun part is that 15 people crowded around the mob sees:

"XXX has been slain by Bric"

while said Wizard is busily nuking away :) . Every 4 or 5 mobs, I would toss in a "Come to papa baby!", or "Buh Bye!".

The really funny part is that I could see the Wiz starting to delay his nukes. Well, that worked a couple of times, until I figured out the mob was going to get IC'd at 30% :D .

I was sitting at my comp howling with laughter. It's was naughty because both of us were wasting DPS, but boy was it fun.

Interesting tidbit. Class most likely to steal a killshot = Ranger. Go figure.
