To start off, I want to know if this happens to anyone else: Whenever (EVERYTIME) there is either a poll, or an updated eqnews, I am forced off eq <You have been disconnected>. Or EQ "coincidentally" crashes to desktop. This has been bothering me.
Anyways, just thought I'd add a rant because their polls are not very helpful towards the benefit of any single class really.
For yesterday's poll, I was looking for a choice of "I spend my time on EQ sitting on my ass going from zone to zone for hours lfg and do not get a group unless a group needs a healer and no clerics are lfg." That pretty much sums up my EQ experience on my druid. I'm usually helping my friends with quests and camping things they need while i'm not in the mood to sit and waste hours lfg.
Now, after this patch, it's been even harder to find a group lfg. At mightnight (est), on a thursday night there are 50 people in PoV, 40 in BoT, 30 some odd in hoh. I was looking for an option in today's poll of "what would you hope to do when you log on eq" to be "When I zone into a zone, and I go lfg, I hope to get a group in less than 30 minutes"
Anyways, summing up this post, With recent zone changes, now there are even more classes to take a druids spot in groups. Few of my druid friends have just given up even trying BoT for groups, which I'm 0-30 on lfg there, even before the changes. I am hoping that some of the suggestions people have come up with for helping the druid as a class be more desirable for groups go into effect at some point, or at least something is done.
One other thing that i wished they added to yesterday's poll choice selection of how do i spend my time on eq: "Telling my friends that I cannot wait for WoW to come out."
