I recently got elemental sleeves (nummy stats!) but I'm confused now when I see my heals hitting for different amounts. While I didn't search for anything on this (I'm lazy so sue me), I can't remember seeing a thead on this anyway.

Yeah, Imp Heal foci are random 1-max%.

Healing Foci, like Healing AA's, nuking AA's and Focus item are random. Joy, 1750hp or 2500hp heal with NI depending on luck. (approximates with maxed AA's)

No, I think you're wrong. Healing and nuking AA's are a flat percentage more (tho nuking may vary depending on mob resists and debuffs). Hence why I was confused when healing focus was different.

HA is constant +n%, HG is random 2x heal, SCF is random 2x nuke (but partially resistable, also assuming SCF3, since SCF1 and 2 crits are less than 2x), Imp Dmg foci are random 1-max% increase, Imp Heal foci are random 1-max% increase.

I believe mana pres foci are also 1-max% random but can't remember for sure.

Improved Healing has always seemed to shoot off a random percentage for me in the past. Same as Improved Damage. You can count on some increase, but it's rather random. If you train up in HG, HA, AHG and AHA you can be assured of a larger percent increase... but it will still be random.

Actually, I think it's more so we can't depend on the focus the way we depend on HA/AHA. I think of the focus as sort of like HG: it can help nicely, but I don't depend on it.

Hehe...I suppose so! I guess I can still count on my HA/AHA base heal...and then whatever Marr's Gift adds is bonus!

Now that I think about it...it is "Gift", sorta like HGift/AHGift which are random as well...

/shrug I could be wrong. I've never taken my elemental arms off to see if my heals were a consistent number since I've gotten the AA's. I do know the focus's for it are random, as are the new nuking AA's (the familiars).

Don't have to take them off, just cast KR or TR since the focus doesn't work on them.
