Ok so i watch a TON of Law and Order, Was jsut watching one of the SVU shows on TnT tonight. A little girls was murdered, beaten by a mentally bothered member of the family acting out his fantasy with the girl.

And now the real kick...

In Going to interview the boy they catch him in the middle of a game sesion complete with sounds.
Name of game the kid is playing: SwordQuest
Sound heard in game: the quest completion sound of EQ and the fighting battle sounds.
Graphics: pretty close lay out of the old eq interface and a few decaying skellies he was fighting.
What was said to the police by the boy: "hold on i jsut n eed to get 1 more level"

Actually, the girl was killed by the stepmother, and the kid tried to protect the girl like a character in the game would. Called the stepmother "the gorgon" or something.

That detective in L&O:Criminal Intent is just too cool, in a borderline psychotic sort of way hehe.

I feel like I have been watching 5 different L&O episodes a day for years now and I have missed this one somehow :)

Funny thing about EQ is it's not even that "good" IMO... it's just massively addictive.
