There is a slot 7 item in LDoN BB theme that grants extended Allfiction IV. It's 1450 pts. and is called Jagged Gravestone of Affliction.

Here is my question:

Since the spell extionsion is a mere 10%, will that grant me a minimum of 1 tick on VoT? Vot is only 30 seconds, so EA will only add 3 secs to that time. Will the focus item round up for at least on additional tick, for a total of 7 ticks from VoT?

All this is laying the goundwork for our GoD DoT AA ability. I already have Burning Affliction IV, Spell Haste, and will be adding evocation specialization to my druid with Secondary Forte. I have my eye on this item unless it will not work with VoT, then I will get something else entirely.

I'm looking at getting one more tick out of VoT for the obvious additional dmg, as well as a chance for an additional crit.

If the numbers can be truly trusted.... 1 tic = 3 secs, so yea. I think you'd squeeze one more out of it with EA IV.

I remember they made a change not so long ago that affected spell timing with EA. I think it was 30 sec spells, but then it was changed to 24 sec spells. VoT falls at 30 sec, so I'm assuming it will add an additional tick.

I really don't want to blow 1495 pts on an item that will be useless to me though, so I'll seek out the wisdom of my peers before making the purchase.

Extended torment adds one tick to all our dots.
