I miss him too.

I still remember one of his very first noob posts.

He suggested dynamic quests and events, like the Orcs of Crushbone attack the Treehouses and Castle in Greater Fay. And players had to help them defend it from attack.

I think others remembered it as well, because that is exactly what they did with the Ring Wars, 12 mos later.

When he first started posting, every sentence ended in IMO. I was always thinking, of course it is your opinion that's why you are posting it, and IMO is fake sour cream. Every time.

I miss Broom's strong views too. He spoke his mind and I agreed with a lot of what he said.

*edit - just keep it up.

Of the "old school" posters, I am not shocked at all in regards to those whom have left or those who continue to play.

With such a consistanlty bad attitude, it was only a matter of time before Broom left EQ. It dosen't take a rocket scientist to predict the ones that are not long for this game. Typically, it's people that place waaaay too much priority and personal emotion into the game that leave the fastest. It's burnout, plain and simple.

This isn't meant to offend anyone imparticular. Just an observation.

Just incase you are wondering.

Broom left because a general discussion he was rather involved with was moved to Rants. It's not like his stuff was deleted, or anything.

Which in turn begat the Unkempt Druids forum as a result.

This is personally my favorite section of the board, usually hit it prior to General even.

Panamah, christened it rather well with very good posts, and kind of made it here home even, for a while.

I never thought of Broom as having a bad attitude anymore than anyone. I guess that means I have one, too :)

Ahh, I remember that...the DFR thread-of-many-pages.
