(No, I'm not doing Oracle quest, so don't consider it. My guild is in Time and legs have been dropping - freaking FOUR plate greaves last night /boggle...but I will have enough points to buy one Mucus drenched soon).

Chenier, almost everyone went for the elemental leather legs during our clearings of time. I on the other hand held out a while as I was saving points, and instead picked up the legs from Rallos Zek.

They were a signifigant bump in armor class, and I don't mind using a group DS as a cast. (About a 40 AC difference between the two legs due to the +25 avoidance)

I'm still waiting on a leather BP to drop when I want to bid, so I can upgrade from my fennin ro tunic.

So many things to bid on, so little time!

I'd suggest Fenin BP/Kerasha and RZ Time Legs

Right now I have Fennin Tunic and Seaweed Legs from POW, hoping to upgrade the legs one day, but not top on my list of items I want to upgrade right now.

While I ahve the Fennin Tunic, I want the Kerasha's Tunic so can't wait until we start to see some elemental BP drops.

I'd say Fennin and Elemental if you're low on the dkp totem. Fennin and RZ if you're in the middle. Ele and RZ if you're at the top. But ugh, I wish we would get 4 plate greaves! We've gotten about 5 leather in a row.

Are you decently high on the DKP totem ....if you are ..id either stick with what i have or get the slime tunic, and hold out for the Ele leather bp ...as apposed to the fennin tunic.

The Ele tunic truly is a lot better than the fennin one ..and imho by a large margin ...its the best we can get in that slot

If your towards the bottom of the heap dkp wise ..id go ahead and grab the fennin ..as you say its nearly rot status

=) we just got to time but it save for ele tunic and FR legs clicky is nice but chances are by the time you get to RZ you have most of your leathers in ele legs

Don't forget that GoD is comming out with potentially much better tunics than the Time tunic. If your shirt will last you 4-7 months, then you should be in good shape to loot the GoD tunic.

Bleh, I'm still undecided. No, I'm at the bottom of the DKP heap, so it's table scraps for me. I think our monks and beasties are saving for the RZ legs, so fat chance on those.

And looking at our rotation schedule, who the heck knows when we'll be back to do FR /sigh...

Yeah, the 4 plate legs in one night was insane, regardless of us chanting "leatherleatherleatherleather" in the druid channel =D....

why not the oracle tunic? i vote no fennin. effects are wasted, as your boots have the one you'd use, and vengance is... well less than necessary.

mucus and oracle offer a broad array of stats for minimal loss of hp/mana (or gain, depending on your augs on the ldon one) over the fennin tunic... and neither has dkp value for you.

as for legs... check out the ones what drop in PoWater or StoneHide. not too shabby and likely the water ones would be negligible dkp for you, as you said the monkies and beasties are saving up for rz time legs. and stonehide you can practically one-group the components for in a night, if your group is willing to move around a bit in PoE as you collect.

I am a 1750 tradeskiller, so no problem there.

The upgrade on any planar tailored stuff is so neligibile I don't wanna use the components for it (guild is cool about saving it and the dkp cost for having something made or making it yourself is good). The upgrade from what I have currently is 10-30 hps or mana, depending on which one you make, which to me is not worth the effort and/or wasted components on a fail (especially if there's someone else for whom it would be a bigger upgrade). And some of those components (hi, metallic substance) are stupidly rare.

Not doing Oracle. Not interested in a long quest for which I have no pieces. By the time I get the dumb thing finished, I'll have an ele bp!

I think I'll just hoarde and wait. If we do FR and no one claims the FR bp, well then grats me. If not, I'll just wait. (but I <3 shopping so).

do you bank a plethora of precious platinum pieces? could just BUY the oracle tunic if you have, say 250k on Povar, not sure what it'd run on other servers.

I don't have a quarter million, no...I have too much buying stuff or giving stuff to guildies (haze panther eyes for GVD's, shrinkers, cash loans, etc.)...

Not sure if this will help you decide, but the LDoN armor pieces have different augment types than the pictures show. I'm guessing they're outdated.

They currently have 1,2,3...not 2,2,3.

What about getting a group together and doing the BoT tower that drops an ornate leather pattern? Its some sort of upgrade, and at least you can get right click group regen out of it.


Do you do hard level adventures?

Rujark nameds drop an FT2 cloak Battle-Torn Cloak of the Ages (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=43425), its somewhat common (i think most of the casters/priests I do these with have one by now).

Several other nice pieces just drop off nameds, if you have a decent hard level adventure crew, you can really upgrade yourself. wrong.. pres of xeg on that makes so you can buy the leather boots in time which are very >> of ele boots. And they have faerune, which opens up your headslot for the druid cap or whatever you want. The boots rotted last time we went, and that was our very only/first drop of them.

i seriously hope/doubt that GoD items will even touch time items. time is supposed to be the be-all end-all of high-end content, i thought. i mean.. it's the gods.

I already have 2 preservations of Xegony...ele boots and AG earring...don't need it on the FR bp as well...

and she's not looking for bootie upgrades at the moment deabbas, so time booties are not a concern, at the moment, neh?

/ponders why chenier has kerasha's booty anway, and when she shakes it, does it shake like her own?
