Hi

I have recently created this druid:

http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=924817

I have tried to focus on getting 200 wis and get the focus effects I find important but was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for improvement?

Is extended range improtant for a druid?
Should I buy more of the droppable flowing thought items?

I know some of the items have pretty crappy stats at his level but they will improve as I slowly level up.

Any suggestions for improvement in general would be much appreciated :-)

Thanks you

Ghaza

Personally I think you're set for a while.

Your gear is leaps and bounds over what I had at your level. Just wow.

The one suggestion I have right now is to quest for a Beginner Magic Manual (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=2218) if you have Planes of Power. It would be an upgrade to the Medicine Totem and since you have Improved Healing II on your Secondary item, there's no need for it in Range too. You have to do the quest for the Planar Traveler's Manual (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=2183) first, but it's easy too.

Beginner Magic Manual
LORE ITEM MAGIC ITEM NO DROP
Weight: 1.0 Size: MEDIUM
Slot: RANGE SECONDARY
AC: +7 Wis: +6 Int: +6 HP: +15 Mana: +15
Classes: All Classes
Races: All Races
Slot 1: Type 7

Extended Range is nice. If you can find a nice item with that effect, go for it. :)

Droppable Flowing Thought is really expensive. If you have a ton of pp to dump into it fine, otherwise I'd buy lots of stuff with really good stats since (on my server at least) you could buy an entire outfit for what you'd pay for one item with FT on it. The exception to this is the Earring of the Solstice, but you've got one. ;)

I agree with Faedia. You're set for a long while. You could actually go into your 40's with that gear and then, perhaps start farming Elysian gear in UP. Think about doing some LDoN raids once you're of the appropriate level and get some nice Augs for gear. Otherwise, you look pretty set. And yea, you're much better equipped than I was at that level too. Heck, even when I was in my 30s!

Hey guys and thanks for your replies. I did not do the quest you mentioned because I stumpled upon 10 wis, 20 hp range slot item in the Bazaar for 2k pp but thanks a bunch for pointing the quest out :-)

Specificly I am not that happy with my current head, arm and chest item - does anyone have suggestions on those slots?

Thanks,

Ghaza

The Bellows Crafted Cap from Plane of Innovation is a pretty common drop and sells for under 200pp on Druzzil Ro.

LORE ITEM MAGIC ITEM
Weight: 1.5 Size: MEDIUM
Slot: HEAD
AC: +9 Dex: +5 Sta: +5 Wis: +6 HP: +15 Mana: +30
Classes: Monk Druid Beastlord
Races: All Races

Yeah, definately get Bellows Crafted Cap for your head slot, they are pretty cheap. maybe look for tunarean soldier tunic as well, dont remember if there is a level requirement or not, but still might look it up...its pretty decent.

That Cap is really nice but since a friend just gave me a Moss Covered Hood I think I am set for my head slot. Unfortunatly I am not a Tunara follower so I cannot use the Tunarean soldier tunic nor the sleeves. I know Karana have a similar set of Armor but they come with a lvl 45 level recommendation :-(

Anyways - I think I am pretty set for now on equipment - now i just need some more levels hehe :-)

Thanks for all your help,
