Boo to the 85% rule. It didn't work for us last night no matter what we tried to do. Many unhappy unflagged, many unhappy raid admins.

Oh well, the maze is still fun so we'll get it fixed.

Did you try completely reforming the raid, and not inviting any unflagged in until all of your flagged were in the raid/zone?

Maze? Hedge maze? Isn't that a 18people-max-event? Raid has to be 32 people or more to trigger 85% rule, so I'm pretty sure you can't will people into Hedge.

Dont need a flag to get into the Hedge. My guess is that they were trying to get people in to try TT but now have to go back and HEDGE them, so to speak.

Uhm good point, don't even need level to get in there (well, except 46+ to get to tranquility at all) /selfsmack

Sometimes the 85% thing just refuses to cooperate, and the raid needs to be completely reformed, inviting flagged people first, and not at any point adding so many unflaggeds that the will runs out. Keep adding flagged people when the limit is near, before inviting more unflaggeds.

If an unflagged raid member leaves to make room for another unflagged member, make sure the one that leaves the raid, relogs. Seems he'll have to camp out for the raid to register his slot as "free".

Hope this helps a lill bit :)

I'm pretty sure you can't raid flag into PoNb, but I could be wrong.

Personally I don't like the 85% rule period. Too much whining about people actually having to fulfill the requirements for the flags they want. I can understand the idea is to prevent endless backflagging, but all it leads to is people being upset that they can't 'skip a step' and get raided in on the work of others. Not that that's necessarily the case here, just a general thing I've seen when people have issues getting 'raided in' to places.

Doubt you can 85% into PoNb, I havent been there in ages though mabye they changed it.

The 85% thing is terriably broken either way. Reforming your raid, having random people booted, it's all part of the PoP experiance.

Yes, we were doing Terris and we did win, but several were miffed at not being able to join.

Anyway, we'll maze some more people.

You can flag share into PoNb. It's a flag (as opposed to a key or something that appears on your keyring.) We have done it a few times, and it's always been that way since they put the 85% rule in.

You can use the 85% rule in PoNB. I've used it many times for my raids.

Did you try completely reforming the raid, and not inviting any unflagged in until all of your flagged were in the raid/zone?

This was your problem, I'm sure. Raid can get bugged EASY. You need to reform the raid, with all flagged people in zone. Then have one person go outside and invite all the nonflagged so they can enter. Also have your raidleader relog to make sure he/she is running a new raid script.

I had to do this manytimes in the elemental planes. Plane of Air is the worst plane though.

Gimping? How's that gimping?

Didnt you know?
You ment to kill TT with under 32 people and no new recruits can ever join unless they have done the hedge run obviously.
Back flagging, Ha, nonscence. Pull your finger out you lazy recruits and do a hedge run before we flag you to help in other zones!

I wonder, does this 'gimping' apply to EP mobs also ? Ma bad, must stop doing fennin with some new recruits tagging along.

Seriously though, as much as Id love to say 'sorry folks your not flaged cant get in' just to save recruits the hasle of sitting waiting outside to see if a) we got enough flagged or b) cos there are to many recruits sitting outside, sorry but I fail to see how thats 'gimping'.

And in regards to the actual question, I think somebody has already mentioned it, but just form the raid inside the zone first. Then nip out and invite the people outside.
Raid flag sharing -ALWAYS- bugs for me when we do hohb. Thankfully just done a round of backflagging so only the odd recruit needs brought in.
