there is a way to start up eq without runing the patch server its finaly pissed me off for the last time how would i go about doing this

Make a shortcut to the file eqgame.exe in your everquest directory.

Right click on it, go to properties.

In the Target section, add the word patchme to the line. So that it looks something like:

C:\Games\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme

And thats it.
