I think its absolute robbery when an ethereal drops off a spec zone mob.

The spectrals/Runes in BoT were practically nerfed out of existence. Last 4 named I have killed in BoT only dropped:

1 spectral
1 peridot
3 ring containers

I finally got my first spectral yesterday after being lvl 65 since the first part of Jan. My very first spectral. I turned it in and guess what spell I got.

Destroy Summoned.

Yeah SOE. Yeah RNG. Yeah parchment drops.

Ugh, 80k huh? I've never seen one for sale on my server. I don't have 80k, but I've been saving up to try and buy it.. and haven't seen a copy for sale in a month and a half.

I got lucky and had PoT9 and Nature's Infusion given to me. Extremely lucky, since I have yet to win a spec in those rare times that they drop.

I refuse to buy the spells, since I'm positive the moment I do, I will either be handed down a copy or get a double on turn in.

I saw Swarming Death for sale for 2k one day. I was only 61 at the time and thought "Eh, I'll just wait if it's that cheap". Duh. Haven't seen it since, and still have 2 guild druids without, including myself.

I went to BoT a number of times before I quit and never saw a spectral drop there. Only time I did see them drop was off PoS mini-bosses. Pretty retarded if you ask me. :mad:

They un-nerfed it for a while. Did they un-un-nerf it again?

I did a weekend there about a month ago where we got 2-4 spec and 1-2 erethral per day (long days granted) so I thought it was pretty reasonable. Haven't been there to xp in a long time though. Curious if they put it back to where it was after they nerfed it the first time. That drop rate has ping ponged more than agro on a pick up raid.

i got a spectral drop in a pit group in Potactics in about an hour, got lucky and got Command of Tunare on turn in also )
