Anyone have a list of spell haste items for druids or can offer me some advice please? :)

I've been in the market for spell haste for a bit now, and I've done searches on various boards for it. Unfortunately with the varied names for the term 'spell haste' I may be overlooking something.

My guild is currently brand new elemental (including Fire), but no emp (VT) keys. I have Agnarr's secondary slot (SH on beneficial). While I'm generally an offense druid and prefer nukes I can't justify taking off beneficial since I'm often called to splash heal (yes, I drooled over Xuzl's shield last night!).

For my current progression in the game what is out there spell haste wise? The only item so far I've seen is Tethered Air Cape which drops in Air. I just hate to limit my options to one mob, one drop.

We currently don't do much in GoD since we 're working POP.

I'm a tradeskill and quest junkie so those options aren't out of the question.

Thanks!!

If you are in a DKP guild, I recommend going to your Tribute Master and getting SH IV until you get into Earth(b). What you want is the Bands of Earthen Energy. There is nothing better for Druids for generic Spell Haste, even in Time, IIRC.

I'd recommend grabbing a friend and duoing in the Lair sewer instance killing the Sludge Eating Fly until you get a Crackled Gem of Quickness. It's a spell haste 4 augment, you can see in my arms on magelo.

After that, Bands of Earthen Energy(18% haste to all), until you can get a Quarm Bracer(23% haste to all)

Which zone is lair off of? How easy/hard to get there? How far in is the Fly?

EDIT: I found the map of GoD progression. Is "lair" one of the sewer instanced zones?

I had read somewhere that aug was a rare drop. Any idea how rare?

Friend saw my current cape and offered to help me get the earthen twine cape, and with that augment it may be workable option until Earth B or Quarm.

The gloves that Sol Ro drops sound right up your ally, that or waitng on the bracer from the Fennon ro script both ar 17-18% spell haste to detrimental spells

**edit oh im a ditz missed the part where you said you were into tradeskills**
the ceramic totem of xegongy is made from plane of air drops its spell haste 4

(have the bracer myself yummy yummy)

Yes, the Lair is an instanced sewer zone, you tell Gamesh in Barindu "Lair" and you will get it then.. you have to wait 5 minutes to cycle instances, but you could try camping any of the none ghost/golem spawns in there if you wanted, as supposedly can spawn at any of them... and I've seen him at many spots.

Yes, the augment is moderately rare..... in comparision to the other drops, besides spells(pre-patch at least, no idea now on spells). Maybe with the cycling nerf, this isn't as good of an option, but something to think about.

I got Karana's Tear (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=4139) ages ago for my spell haste, from Agnarr. A little uncommon, but depending on how often you do it you should be able to snag one. Must-have earrings are few and far between, unlike the slots for the Bands of Earthen Energy.

Marsinger's Glimmering Gem (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=54039)

Quest can be found here: Marsinger Hate Quests (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=2454)

Dependent on how much time you are willing to put into it (it's a 4 part quest) (and odds of getting a group to farm hate for a few months dependent on drop rates) the 4th gem which I've provided a link to above is a sweet range item with Regen 3 and Spell Haste 4.

It may be a little while til you start doing Fennin Ro, but he's far and away the easiest of the EPlanes gods and should be on your farm list pretty quickly. Once you start doing him, on the way to him there's a fairly solid bracer with 18% detrimental spell haste that potentially drops from three (?) of the minis that you kill before FRo spawns. I'm saving points in hopes of getting a Fennin Belt right now, but once I have that taken care of i'll likely be watching for the bracer myself. (not too excited by the elemental bracers as FT is pretty easy to cap now)

After personally picking up a belt off fennin and a tethered air cape, I'd actually recommend a fennin belt and Bone Sliver ornament from PoE, freeing up the back slot for something more useful, like a Quavonis cloak. I just don't have the dkp now to go back and replace 2 EP drops (tethered air cape that I overbid on, and Blackflame Sphere) with 2 extremely minor upgrades.

I agree with Lady Caisha, Lair-Trial is a pretty fast and easy way to get this item. The problem I had was that I am a greedy bastard and didn't want to spend DKP on an item just for spell haste :D Grab yourself an SK or Paladin friend and duo the named fly. I got mine with a group of friends, as we were farming both Vxed and Lair for spells (good thing is you can start trial 6 while the counter for trial 3 is still running, so I as the tracker was alternating between those 2 trials). We had 1 gem drop from every 2nd named fly. And what I REALLY like about this augment is that it fits into any augmentation slot :)

Tribute is the easiest way to got, or augments from Ldon armor

does the tribute points spell haste happen to stack on top of worn spell haste and blessing of reverance?

Tribute does not stack with worn effects.

My current Haste items are

SolRo Gloves (Haste of Solusek)
Orb From Agnarr (Haste of Mithaniel)
Fenin Ro Belt (Quckening of Mithaniel)
Cloak from MB (Enchancement Haste 4)
The Cracked Gem augment from sewers which I have on my boots. (Spell Haste 4)

Orb is redundant now after I got fenin belt, so its next on the replacement list. I also tend to prefer my elemental gloves over solusek gloves. They have better hp/mana, save me mana on summers flame and with the cracked gem, wearing the gloves only speeds up cast time by a further 0.2 seconds.

Of all the hastes, speeding up your healing is key. The long discussion about hps healer per second needed for GoD will better explain why. You heals will always land that split second too late, because sod law says so. Youll save thouse that would have died without haste, but those that you wouldnt have been anywhere near saving will die just a faction of a second too early and its just as annoying.

Spell haste 4 does for a starter, but speed and quickening of mithaniel are the ones to get hold of.

Wristband of Icy Vengeance (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=32110)

Leather classes if you're in time... shouldnt be too long before getting your own. Leather is overflowing for us. That bracer are goes to recruits.

Hehe. should say hi to our necro looter with a complete set of elemental leather including legs and bp.

If you don't want to wait for time, get the Earthen bands from Earthb. The bracers off the fennin event are nice detrimental spell haste, and the belt from fennin himself are the best beneficial haste there is atm. I would also recommend Earring of unseen horrors if you weren't fortunate enough to get a fennin belt -- assuming you can beat out the hordes of clerics/shamans/everyone else who will want one. :)

Also, don't waste your dkp on the Ornament from Mud ring... there are Sooooooooo many better range items then that and many other places to put your haste in that you will be kicking yourself for tying up such an important focus in such an important slot.

But it does stack with BoR. I have Spell Haste 4 tribute and always have BoR whenever I can pin a cleric down long enough.

Now if Gintol would be kind enough to gimme his frickin' belt, everything will be okay. =)
