SOE in a press release (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/03/15/news_6091457.html) regarding their fifth anniversary of Everquest divulged some numbers and facts about EverQuest.
One of the most interesting facts is that there are 250,000 new subscribers every year, which is more than half of the playing population. That must mean that there is a substantial turnover in players.
