Has anyone besides me noticed that mob pathing has changed since the last patch and mobs no longer stay bunched together well enough for quadding? I saw this in Plane of Mischief on Zeb and several others (bards & wizzies) complained about it as well.

I definitely noticed it in PoM, but I believe it's business as usual in other zones.

It's z-axis warping issues. Mobs should stay bunched up on flat ground, but if you try to kite on a hill, they will warp and split up.

Seems to be working "as intended" in HoH as of this weekend. Ill have to go play in PoM and test it out.

Wouldn't surprise me though...

Oh, and by hill, I use the term broadly, as it can also include boulders, stream beds, pebbles, and dry leaves.

There are definate issues with quadding on hills, the picnic tables in fire have some neat warping now that will definately result in being a grease spot if your not careful.

Notice there is a slight hill or two there and a picnic table to quad over. The mobs appear to warp mid-quad covering vast amounts of distance if you look back at them while they would be traversing the hill. It's not real nice of SOE to screw up that one.

Works fine in CS...even pulled over the safe stone several times and mobs stayed together throughout the evolution...did this last night...

I haven't had a problem in CS keeping them close enough to hit, but if I watch them as they follow me, I see them warp up above the ground and fall back down a lot. I was concerned it might screw up the quad, but it didn't.

In CS, and other places they do "jump", like being poked in the butt, but only 1 of the 4 do it...but they still stay grouped...
