I was level 20 when I got my first magic weapon(velium mace), level 8 when i saw ghouls, dinged 50 when Vox died and I was in the experience group, dinged 60 in Sebilis, last died solo in the Kael arena, rarely raid so dont remember the last time I died in a raid but was in HOH last time I died in a group.

Level 10 when I first got a magic weapon? Level 20 something when I first saw ghouls. In seb I dinged none but a couple of aas. Never liked that place really. In pofire last time I died solo. Uqua last time I died in a raid and in some ikkinz trials last time I died in a group...

my very first magic weapon was a combine scimitar that i bought from the gypsy merchants in Oasis for some stupid amount of plat...just so i could hit wisps on wisp island for the big bucks...

i dinged 50 in solb, waaaaaaay back before Kunark.

i dinged 60 at the raptors in TD.

i dinged 65 in POS on frogs.

i die so much that i couldnt tell you where or when or any of that, plus i retired before GOD, so dunno.

I dinged 50 off an Ogre guard in Feeroot (though I mostly levelled in SolB)... 60 off something in the iksar jail in Sebilis. 65 was in Halls of Honour.

First "magic" weapon was a combine scimitar bought with what was a huge amount of plat at the time from the gypsies in Oasis... Managed to replace it with a screaming mace soon after, even though my first screaming mace hand in got eaten 8( Still have screenshots of that!

when i dinged 10 i was in West Commons killing Dervishes, level 20 in Lake Rathe killing Aviaks, level 30 i was killing Gnolls at Paw, level 40 giants in Rathe Mountains killing giants, level 50 in Skyfire Mountains, level 60 in Kael killing whatever we could find. My first magic weapon was a screaming mace!!

* I was level 20 or so when i got my first magic weapon. (halfing druid without Pop) I go a dark embur from a level 60 druid and it felt really awsom.

* I saw my first ghoul (zombie really) when i took the wrong exit out of rivervale and wondered into kitchor.

* I am not 100% sure where i dinged 50 but probably on Justice or Nightmare

* Last time died solo i tried to pull a frog out of the giant fort in PoS.

* Last time i died in a group was trying to kill xuzl and one of the swords broke free (tower of sol ro)

* Last time i died in a raid was Rallos Zek

I saved up to buy a combine sword from the oasis. It was magic to me. I spent my first 18 levels killing orcs in crushbone and dodging the occasional emperor/ambassador train to zone. I fought the dreaded 2 headed and sometimes 3 headed orc and saved people from certain death.

Becoming a knight of truth at 13 was a big deal. Raids to kill Lucan were not guaranteed wins.

When I was given ghoulbane ( I had work and the guild aquired it just before I logged on). I went to unrest and stopped trains.

I dinged 60 after an all nighter at the upper spiders and being the only healer even with an insane ranger puller who killed the top half of the zone with her trains. The two others in the group kept mouthing off about how paladins sucked while I kept their sorry butts alive, I doubt they ever actually noticed.

Can't remember my levels at the time because I retired this char for a year or something like that. (retired at 45, if the leveling seems odd)

Screaming Mace wu~. A level 60 Rogue gave it to me, along with a few other items. I was godly. That's how I got a lot of items, high level guys hitting on me. :p

Unrest, first ghoul.. or maybe it was WC/EC.. or Oasis.. Ghoul Root, oh nos!

Last time I died without anyone's help was by a Fabled mob. Some lizard thingy in Rathe Mt. Stupid Fabled that run at sow speed :( .

Last time I died in a raid was on an MB raid. Didn't get the flag either. Gnome despawned and only one person got the flag.

And in group, on an Everfrost Ldon. I hate mobs that are under the world, when you're the CC, and you already have 2 other mobs to take care of. Pancake Druid Powers Activate!

Thought I'd add this in here. This was when I was still roaming around Kelethin and CB. Anyways, someone was handing out bags of free gear at PoD lift! So when I finally got a bag I opened it and found the best gear money could buy (to my knowledge)! Leather! I put that stuff on right away and sold all my cloth armor. I was so cool and happy too.

Heh, then I logged off and when I got back on I had no gear or the bag. I didn't know what the heck happened. So somehow I finally figured out it was something called "No Rent" which ment it would poof after you log.. oy.

But the good side to this story is when I sold my cloth armor and from the money in my bank I was almost able to afford a brand new real suit of leather!

First Ghoul= Was about 20 mins after I got the screaming mace, I found out about the ruins by the EC tunnel. (also first CR from ghouls)

Acts of Great Kindness: Last week (may have already posted this, but...). I was in CS and this ooc comes across asking me if I’m Druid? Well, being on PvP server I have found that a lot of times people will ask just to see what class you are before they attack. Checking track didn’t show him being close, so I memmed my gate spell and PvP spells just in case. I said “yes” and he asks for a port to POK, with payment. Now, I’m loaded with gems and loot, so it’s time to go anyway and I say I’ll take him. We meet and POK is the next stop.
Now, he (a 62 BST) asks if, for 350pp, I’ll take him back to CS after he drops something off, and then back to POK after he picks up something on the beach. Well, as a Druid, I enjoy my ability to port around the lands, and thought this was a good thing for him, so I said sure, but no payment was needed (I port for free anytime I can), I’d just do it to help (some quest item or something, so I felt it was worth it to help him). He argues a bit, but I said no payment and we ported to CS and back to POK.
After we’re done I go to leave and he tries to give me 350pp, I decline, say TY and he tries again. Declined again with a TY, but I ask that if he or his friends ever come across me and I need help, return the favor. To make this short, he agree, tells me to wait a second while he gets something and a few minutes later returns with 10 (TEN) 52-58 level druid spells I’ve been looking for in Skyfire/BW areas!!!! I liked to fell off my chair…all those just for porting. I was in heaven.
We aren’t done. He asks if I have 30 minutes or so to spare, I do, he takes me to this dungeon area (I’d never get there at 51 level) where we group up and he proceeds to kill everything in this one room, including two Named mobs (I healed and snared for him). I got a GREAT robe worth around 9Kpp, and loot worth around another 4-5kpp!! Everytime I log in now I look for him, just to say TY once more….I'm sure the money and spells weren't a big deal to him, but to me!!!!! I hate Skyfire and BW looking for spells. I always like to help anyone, but what he did was way beyond anything I have done before....makes the game worth playing knowing there are players out there like him (Hmmm, I wonder if that guy that gave me the FREE KEI the day after was a friend of his...????)

I was level 15 or so when I got my first magic weapon. Gogo Screaming Maze. I coughed up 50pp for it, which I'd worked seriously hard for and it was my lifes savings at the time. Bought via /auction in NFP, the server's trading zone back in the pre-bazaar days.

I first saw a ghoul around the same level, when my BF (who had been playing wayyy longer than me, and had at -least- one level 18 char, so he was totally uber) took me to Unrest for some xp and hopefully some awsome armor drops.

My first meeting with great kindness was in Misty, a high level wood elf druid (she was like level 30!!) ported in, and out of nowhere gave me 2 Cuthroat insignia rings (you know, the +2 dex ones from NRo) out of the blue. I was amazed, I had jewlery with -stats-!!

I dinged level 60 in Velks on the first floor during the Christmas holiday. I had a major cold, and was sneezing more than I was not, but I was dead set on dinging 60 during my days off. That day I dinged 60, as did 2 bards and a rogue that were all in our group at some point. Definitely a moment I remember.

I honestly can't remember where I dinged 65, but it was probably in PoStorms root-dotting frogs.

The first 3 casts of my epic were all 100% resisted. I was not impressed, and I still have a screenshot of it.

Last solo death.. who knows - I seriously cannot recall when I last went solo for xp. If all non-group and non-raid situations count, I last died 2boxing my shaman and my ranger in LoY somewhere, after an old friend of mine suddenly logged on for the first time in months, and I got so excited and so caught up in the tells I forgot to heal :/

Last raid death - PoTimeB vs. Inny. I hate Inny. Seriously.

Last group death - Ikkinz group trial1. Overpull, sacrificed myself so the cleric could get out.

First magic weapon -- I was still in the thicket. Elder druid handed me a Velium Great Staff. Around lvl 11 I was given the Screaming Mace by a nice troll in N Ro.

First ghoul -- it's been a while. I don't remember. Probably died by one in EC and thought wtf was that?

I was level 7, I believe, when a nice retiring vlv 31 Druid walked up to me in RV (I was an obvious n00b) and gave me some twink gear, including a Knobbed Warclub. I remember thinking the 700pp he gave me would last me 40 levels or so...

Ghoul:
Can't recall, although I vividly remember fighting aqua goblins at level 14-15 in OOT. I was so proud of myself because I could use lev to walk off the big rocks and drop on to the boat. ;)

First memorable act of kindess towards me when I was newbie was in Oasis. I was killing crocs and keeping in eye out for specs pulled to the dock to screw with newbies when a Druid on a lizzy mount (when I first saw this I was truly amazed) stopped near me. I was medding and he offered to buff me up and did so. It was cool.

Last died on a raid... the pull prior to the pull of Ofossaa the Enlightened brought one to many mobs, one or two turned on the cleric in my group and I healed her and well you know the drill.

I recently started breaking 6.1k hps raid buffed. For some odd reason I thought I would die less on raid encounters - hehe. Of course I shoulda known better since our guild is somewhat new to elem raiding and have some stuff to get down yet (not to mention farming yet to do).

Level 12 before I got my first magical weapon. It was a combine scimitar and was worth about 100 times all the rest of my gear put together.

Level 28 before I won my first piece of stat gear. It was a pair of Splitpaw Hide Gloves that I had been trying for months to get and I finally won the /random because no one else wanted it by that point.

Leve 35 and main healing a group of 50's in Karnor's Castle 1 week after Kunark came out since they didnt have anyone else to heal. I think we were killing 1 mob every 10 minutes and having to run to the exit about half the time.

Level 42 when I first killed in Sebilis. Level 41 when I had to retrieve my first corpse in Sebilis. ;)

Level 51 before I replaced my last piece of non-stat pure leather gear. It was a mammoth cloak I had been trying to get since level 40 but after about 500 Alchemist kills I still hadnt gotten it to drop.

Level 56 before I joined my first and only guild. I think I was the second highest level in there at the time too.

Level 60 when I got my epic after 3 attempts at Fay. I was the first druid in my guild to get it, only the third epic in the guild, and perhaps the fifth epic in the alliance. I'm still proud of that Fay kill with some 65 people from both my alliance and close to 20 random friends who joined because they knew I needed help. And it was still a close thing. :)

Level 65 when i got my first (and until about 3 months ago my only) piece of FT gear. It was, of course, the solstice earring.

In WW when I killed my last named mob that was over level 55 solo.

In a BoT tower when I killed my last raid named.

Still 29 when I last logged in.

Wondering when SoL would come out when I last really really had fun in the game due to the game itself rather than the people who played it.

Just now feeling sad I've been too busy with work and school to log in over the last 2 months and remembering all the good times I had with my friends over the years.

Its been a long journey over the last 5 years. I've met a lot of people and had so many good times that whatever my complaints about the game itself is these days, I cannot say it was money and time ill spent. There might have been other things I could have done with my time and money, but its hard to believe that with over 360 days /played I could have found better people to share it with.

See, the thing about the ghoul is, that in the wayback, it was the 'magic required to hit' mob that we most commonly encountered before we had weapons that could hit them. an entire group of level 10's would be wasted by a roaming ghoul, if their casters were low on mana... hehe as many have noted, wisps were the other troublesome 'magic required' mob, if you grew up in the karanas or odus.

Kellory, i'm all teary eyed... that was exactly what i was looking for =) /cackles!

OMG Combine Scimitar was 41 friggin plat cuz I didn't know enough/have charisma items to get it to the rock bottom price of 38 or so. Took a long time to save it up too. The Well-Balanced Scimitar was 500+.. a joke and a dream at the same time.. just for that 3 less delay :dance:

Shortly after dying to Wisps in WC, I decided to make the move from non-magic to magic weapon. And, after killing countless dwarf skeletons to get cracked staves (1pp per!), I saved up enough to buy my screaming mace at level 15. Best weapon ever! I bought it from a higher level druid in Nfp for 50pp, which was a pretty good buy at the time. It was his first magic weapon, too.

I discovered the magic of quadding at level 49.
-I dinged 50 killing Spirocs in TD.
-I dinged 60 killing Revenants in Scarlet.
-I dinged 65 at Lower South in BoT.

-I last died solo in PoW, forgetting entirely to invis.
-My last raid death was in PoE, doing the Dust event and healing a bard.
-My last group death was at tables in PoF, when a zerg raid zoned in all at once while I was pulling 2.

I have to add a few personal milestones though!
-Got rid of my last piece of rawhide armor at 49.
-Sent my first random tell to Sobe at 51.

Ghoul encounter was also 12, running from ghouls accross Kithicor to get towards Sol Ro , to turn in stick.

50 Was probally quading in BW. ( Would have to dig up SS to be sure). 60 was probally rotting cycle mobs in Skyfire farming spells) 65 was probally in PoS. (It has been a while :)) I can tell you for sure my magician got 60 and 65 in the ape room in PoM.


The last palce I died Solo..Probally been 6 months since I died Solo, probally a bad Pull in PoS or something. In a group hmm. Maybe when we tried spider matriarch in PoN with three of us, I died right before she did.
