I've been playing EQ for about 9 months now, with a month or 2 vacation, and I just hit 65 a 2 days ago. If any would be so kind to give suggestions on gear upgrades and what type of path I should take for AA's.
A little background info:
I am in a more casual raiding guild, no real targets. If enough people are on, we just scout out potential targets an go for it. I mostly group, main healer for the most part. I haven't really soloed since 55-58 (these levels SUCK!). I've mostly just been grinding out to 65, done a few quests here an there and thats about it. Its funny I've played EQ, what seems like a long time, and find that I still know little about the game.
I would really appreciate some guidance. Thanks in advance.

If you can't raid in the elemental plane, the ornate armor is alway a goog armor (you already get the elusyan one's).

For the AAXP, MC1, SCM2, SCM3, innate camo, exodus, SotW 1, radiant cure1 (very good to cure dot, malo and thash spells).

Run 3 is an must have, innate metabolism 3 is also nice to have.

After that it will depend if you are a nuker (SCF) or a healer (HA) or you need more hp/ac (ND/CA/CS) to survive during a raid.

If you raid a lot then mass group buff will be worth to get (good combo with SotW). Also SCR 1-3 and SCRM as good if you are often the buffer in your group/raid (and it affect SotW too) saveing 50% in mana buffin (because you cast the buffs 50% less often because of the 50% bonus time on the buff)) make a diffence, and Bot9 will last the time of most of the LDoN adventure too.

After that it will depend of how you play.

Also if you are in a casual raiding guild you might be able to try the PoI mini behamots. They drop an improved healing IV and a healing haste item.

radiant cure1 (very good to cure dot, malo and thash spells).
not to mention snares

The Prototypes in PoI. Cap they drop has IH4 and the other item I think you are referring to are Cog Encrusted Epaulets. I believe the effect is haste to beneficial spells. If I'm wrong check my magelo, wearing them.
