Anyone log in (try to log in) this morning, and go to click "order later" only to have your finger poised over the "Order Omens"??????????
Yeah. They switched sides on them.
So f'ing lovely.
Besides the fact that EQ really is falling, why in the world would a company deliberately try to trick its customers out of money? And yes, I know I can edit the file directly to make sure I dont receive these "value laden responses" anymore but blasted all, I shouldnt have to.
At this point, the only reason I am still subscribing to eq is that my wife still plays (about once every 10 days now, from 4-5 hours a day), still have some friends on that I chat with, officer of a small guild, and that I just would feel strange about cancelling and getting rid of my accounts. Yeah. Runon I know. Its just with all the problems eq has, they pop a patch on us last night, again refuse to write a patch message (been my gripe every patch), again refuse to fix the PoK lockup problems, and instead decide that breaking eqw and "upgrading the frontend" is better than spending time fixing core issues.
Today I am still paying for eq. I am about to go on a week trip away from my computer. Will see if I still have a desire to even log on after that. Not trying to "get others to on the band wagon to quit" - if you like eq, have fun with it still. I am just in awe that those smarmy buggers actually had the gall to (on top of the game acting like crap last few months) try to TRICK me out of money. F them.
