My EQ account will be heading that direction soon. Since I purchased City of Heros, I have lost all interest in the boring Everquest level grind. I just got Combat Jumping / Hurdle on my tech/tanker. Can not wait for Super Jump.

The thing that disturbs me most about EQ outside of what Sony can do about the code, is that the other players are real people and sadly most of the ones left on the server I used to play on certainly did not rock. It drove me so nuts what real people would do to other real people just because they were anonymous.

I went for Teleport on my Scrapper. Teleport Foe is great for pulling and Teleport self can get you out of trouble. Teleport Friend can save a life or bring in a new group member... Superspeed and stealth were tempting but maybe later on...

You know since I quit they have announced they want to fix stuff, release a new expansion, you can get to lvl 70, fixed collision (what the 6th or 7th time now), etc etc etc.

I dont have the slightest desire to log back in, at least 99% of the time. That being said, I still check the boards about once a week to see what is up in the world of Norrath. Sometimes I wish I would see something that would actually pique my interest enough to log in and check it out. Nothing ever does though.

I have had about 30 or so friends that have stayed together through guilds, expansions, trials, flags, etc from the original game. Right now I think one of them still plays.
