I love coming here and reading opinions of others of our class who play the game as well as a little input from those who have left and offer a fresh new perspective. What's getting on my nerves here is a few who only come here to whine on the majority of threads about how they left EQ, played a different class and "EQ needs revamping because.... *whine*..." I saw one post that I believe sums it up the best and wanted to repost a portion...
It's funny, I never really visit the druidsgrove anymore, only when new spells/skills/expansions come out to catch up on the conversations about changes, but it's funny that things have not changed :P. The same 2 people complaining about the same thing with the same arguments they had years ago about casual gaming being ignored in everquest. Then people argue with these same 2 people back and forth (mind you other people jump into either side of the debate but it always goes back to the same 2 people monopolizing the thread with their one-sided narrow-minded arguments). People will try and rationalize with these 2 and it does no good because they're the most stubborn people I've ever encountered in my life and won't listen to anyone else's opinions, well perhaps it's mostly the one who must crave the attention and loves to argue. But when your arguments progress you nowhere, what's the point? At first it's fun and heated and interesting to try and "get" them, but after awhile it's just mind-numbing cus they don't see beyond their own small picture (well really mainly one person). Obviously everquest isn't going to change to become easier/better/more interesting for you (whatever the adjective is that you are seeking), so I'm not sure what the point in constantly complaining about it is. Not to mention the fact that you've quit the game anyway, so why ruin other people's happiness in the game by dragging others' hopes into the dumper?"We have an ignore feature here" you say. And I have said the same. The problem is, a thread starts, one troll posts a redundant post and about 90% of the active posters turn their energies toward the troll trying to change the troll's mind... or win the argument (which can't be done).
I understand that I'm just one player here, but I know if it's affecting me it has to be affecting others as well... I know we can't stop trolling posts, but I would make a request that some of you (us) STOP responding to their posts!! Endless circular arguments... If you're hell bent on spinning your wheels, tell SOE what changes you feel we need for our class instead of feeding the troll(s).

Thanks. I feel better now...
