Well, I finally got my invites for Gmail, and have a few left. If anyone would like to have one, let me know.

As of now, I have 3 left. Send me a PM with your email addy :)

Just don't send a hotmail address, because Hotmail is automatically deleting invites. Yahoo (I heard) is automatically marking them as spam, but sending to trash, so you can still get it I guess. Here's an article about the hotmail "bounces"......

EDIT:

On second thought....I'm not sure..just did some digging into their privacy policy and found This Article (http://www.theregister.com/2004/04/03/google_mail_is_evil_privacy/]This%20Article)
Relavent quote below...

Google's Gmail privacy policy points out that your email will be retained even after you close your account -

"The contents of your Gmail account also are stored and maintained on Google servers in order to provide the service. Indeed, residual copies of email may remain on our systems, even after you have deleted them from your mailbox or after the termination of your account."Not sure if I like that....Nah...I still want one :D

That's precisely what happens with any work email account you've ever had, anyway. Email has always been horribly insecure.

With work email its expected and accepted because a business has liability issues. People who send emails to you at work generally understand that there is no privacy.

This is not a work email address.

Hotmail is bumping up their free email to 250mb and their paid to 2gb to follow suit with Google and Yahoo. The only reason I like Hotmail better is because I run MSN's Messenger (Well, Trillian at any rate) all the time and it alerts me when I get new mail. If Google came out with an IM that had the same alert capabilities, I might use GMail more, but right now, my GMail account will probably turn into nothing more than a glorified personal file server (store work related utilities up there and such).
