I do not want to Rant, or Flame but this is just pure STUPIDITY on your part!!!

I do not give a damn about the changes to Clerics, I do not even care about our Mini CH that you have been teasing the Druid Community with.

But when you nerf my EXP, guess what, now I am Pissed!!!

Use to be I could log on and go to Great Divide and Solo a few Blue (not light blue) Frost Giant Elites (About a 50/50 ratio) but now not only have you nerfed the exp but in being there for over an hour this morning I did not see one dark blue Elite all were light blue.

I am not in an Uber Guild, I am not a 12 to 14 hour player as some are. I am a casual player and you have just taken the fun out of the game for me. Because I have a Real Life and do not have time to spend hours upon hours in your Game I should not get EXP anymore, or is it I should just get a lot less EXP for my time expended.

I do not go out and quad kite, tried it and it was not any fun so I do not do it. But now I might have no choice as if I want to get any measurable exp then I will have to do something with my Time (That mind you I pay for), Ohhhh I know I will go sit for hours in the zones that might give decent EXP trying to find a group, but since I have no real value that is probably all I will do is sit there and try to get a group.

Maybe this is your plan to do away with Everquest so that everyone will go to EQ2.
Not happening in this lifetime Verant!!! When I go from this game I will not ever play another game of yours ever again. Why because you do not look to your customer base, you look to the whiners and try to placate them and the Hell with everyone else. Druids have for the longest time just requested something to make them a real part of the game and now we are, we are the door stops.

I am sick of seeing all the fun things about this game go out the window and it is because of you Verant that the game wound up this way not because of me. You cater to the Uber Players and Guilds but nothing that you do helps the Little guy. I was at least somewhat happy with things until the latest changes but now I am very, very bitter. All I can say is Fix the EXP so that the casual player at least has a chance or you may just loose a large chunk of your player base which also means that you loose a large chunk of your change that you put into your pockets every month. The Casual Player needs more from you, do not leave them out in the cold or you may just get a rude awakening. Will I quit, not just yet I want to see if this degenerates even more next month with PoP. I want to give you the time to fix what is wrong, but will I be here after PoP if the fixes are not made ***HELL NO!!!*** why should I spend money to try to enjoy my self when I have absolutely nothing to contribute to a group therefore no reason to be accepted into one that can get others that can do anything that I can do just better. And now I can not even get decent EXP soloing.

Verant let me remind you of a little statement that was made by Rich Waters ***"All priests should offer a similar level of value in solo, group, and raid situations, and they won't be considered balanced until this is true." Rich Waters***

But how does this EXP nerf figure into the mix. I would like to know and so would a lot of your player base.


Thanks for all the Fun Verant you could not have screwed the casual player base anymore if you tried to. All I ask is that you fix it so that the casual player has something to do with their time instead of wasting it.

I find it funny that almost every class board has complaints about the experience changes.

Heck some people on the monk boards were refering to it as a "melee soling nerf" yesterday.

But, I don't think any other class board has gotten so carried away or taken it as personally as this one.

I am not sure why people here thinks this effects them more than anyone else who spends any time soloing.


It doesn't. And I have seen the arguments.

I do not believe that it just affects me I know it affects all classes but this it the class that I have chosen to play and that is why I posted here.

Further I stated in my post that it needs to be changed for all I do believe. I am not asking this just for Druids but all Casual Players!!!

Why pull this? I feel the same as you. I am a casual player with a family and two jobs. As far as I see it this is the most boneheaded patch Verant has EVER done. As you said - forget the Druid shaft - just the exp nerf alone virtually kills the average casual player who wants to log in an hour between jobs/classes or family obligations.

Why even bother to play for less than a few hours?

On the other hand I can see this getting fixed VERY soon. Until then I think I'll go read. You all remember books? *smiles*

As a cleric I agree it was very boneheaded. Look at it from the point of view of a cleric who isnt 60 and cant duo CT or whatever. You give me the ability to solo finally and then in the same patch make that ability worthless.

I do appreciate the increased damage and desirabillity in groups therefore I do support all your efforts to get increased heals (plural) to make you more viable now since I am no longer a one trick pony. Good luck to all of you and many of us clerics would be willing to help you carry the torch to get better healing. Please dont hate us for getting some melee ability because that made the game more fun, instead it would be nice if we could help you get better grouping and especially raiding ability to make your class more fun.
