I am a level 46 Druid. I am not sure exactly what kind of armor I need to be looking for. I am still to low for Elysians, and I am not sure if getting my tailoring skill up to make WE cultural is worth the effort. Please help!

If I have worded my questions wrong, please let me know. Eveybody on TDG is so helpful, that I find it strange that no one has any suggestions for me.

Read the stickie posts above this post. I don't even know what is out there for your level druid these days, but there is a lot of info on armor items if you do a little research. Chances are what you find for yourself will be better suited to your gameplay anyway, because you know what items would be realistic for you to acquire.

I dont think you are too low unless you are considering soloing. If you want Elysian stuff, Just zone into Umbral and with any luck someone will be killing the remains. Send an /ooc and let em know you are in zone. Stuff rots out there all the time. Even if there are druids in the zone, they may have whatever item is on the mob and it would rot anyway. I got a couple pieces this way.

Thank you for the information. I will try to make my questions more specific in the future. I noticed this one was a little broad.

I did get a piece of Elysian leggings 2 days ago. A friened of mine has a lvl 60+ Necro, and he helped me. We pulled about 10 Elysian mobs before it dropped. Then we accidently pulled in one of those alien guys that summoned. He killed me and forced the Necro to Feign Death. All I could think of piece of Elysian armor on the mob we just killed rotting before I came back. Fortunately there was none. LoL

Hehe, I think that's the first time I've heard someone say "Fortunately, the Elysian didn't drop any armor!" ;)

Tunarian scout and stormreaper (depending on race/diety) would be great if you can afford.

Or were you focusing on stuff you can solo/hunt yourself?

Its been awhile, but you can kill the ulthorks in Eastern Wastes for some so-so armor by yourself. The ones over by the Kromriff prison camp drop generally arms, neck, hands, feet. The Man O' Wars in the corner of zone by Kael drop the bigger pieces. Along the way you can collect ulthork tusks to turn into the otters in Cobalt Scar for random rewards. I would imagine this will still get you at least a little xp in the process.

At 46, its easier to farm for cash than it is to farm for nice equipment. I personally would spend a week plat farming and then buy gear that will hold you into your 50s when you can do the elysians.

In response to Len the Druid, I was wondering if there was anyhting I could solo/hunt for myself. I have a lot of the pieces to put together some Tunarean Scout armor, but I do not have the skill to do it. I also noticed that it trivias at 335 instead of 250 now. What's up with that!

I respect you want to get your own stuff..the poster who said you could proabably "frm" the cash is most likely right but nothing to be prouder of than earning your gear with a one on one fight. I dont know what you have today but here are some ideas.

Can't do that until he's a Wanderer, can he? At least I have vivid memories of a MQ gone bad waybackwhen because the reciever was too low for it.

Most stuff that had a trivial higher than 250 was listed as 250 simply because no one knew what the real trivial was. Now we can see the real trivial level for an item

/em packs up his sewing kit, throws armour crafting kit in forge

pensekar go to umbral plains and try and get to the valley and just talk to whoever is there killing if anyone is and wait for stuff to rot BUT once you ar lvl 48 YOU CAN start soloing them if you know how to play druid well enough thats when i started soloing them but it does take a good 10-15 minutes each so best bet is to wait till 52 and start doing it or at 48 if you get a few druids or groupies out there you can kill them easily... hope this helped
