Saw this over at mmorpg.com - release dates for upcoming mmorpg's:

Vendetta Online (08/01/04)
Outpost (09/01/04)
The Saga of Ryzom (09/15/04)
Legend of Mir 3 (09/15/04)
Face of Mankind (09/30/04)
World of Warcraft (09/30/04)
Dragon Empires (10/01/04)
EverQuest II (10/01/04)
Guild Wars (10/01/04)
Pirates of the Burning Sea (10/01/04)

I know these dates are probably not right, especially since EQ2 hasn't started beta yet, but can you imagine if WoW and EQ2 came out 1 day apart? Pandemonium would ensue!! :)

I'm guessing that the EQ2 date will be most definitely pushed back. =)

Apparently the EQ2 Character Generator is making the rounds on Bittorrent, so they're gettin there.

EQ2's been in closed beta for quite some time, actually.

Never believe a release date unless it is published by the company making the game. Sometimes they can be accurate, but most of the time they aren't. They usually just make up the dates based on their own estimations or loose estimations the company gives. They also usually don't change the dates one they are picked (unless that date passes.)

World of Warcraft (09/30/04)
Oh, that's my B-Day. Anybody gonna buy it for me? :)

EQ2's been in closed beta for quite some time, actually.
This is true, but given SOE's history of beta testing, I wouldn't hold my breath. They have two months until that listed release date. (okay, 1 week over but close) And SOE will need them full two months, if they wish not to make the same mistakes they did for all their other games.

I thought EQ2's suppose to go through an open beta, too? 2 months just doesn't seem like a long enough time to sent EQ2 into a public and then open beta.

I have my doubts about a late september WoW date.

There is probably at least one more closed beta phase for hunters, and they need to put in alot more horde content. Then there is open beta.

WoW's Beta start as March if I recall. Dev's made it very clear in the first week of the beta, beta testing will go on for a min of 5 months. If the min was used, the release date would be Aug. We all know the game isn't ready to be released in Aug. I would say look for a Oct release date.

EQ2, I would say Christmas 2004. Maybe 12/26/04. The game has been delayed so many times now. The promise is 2004. The total cost for EQ2 was reported around 20 million. That's 15 million more then EQ 1 cost.

As to the other games on the list, I havn't followed too closely.

Don't worry. I'll Sept 30th for WoW. Blizzard is well informed that it's my b-day and plans to give me a special b-day present in releasing WoW. Just like Rahjeir's well informed he plans to purchase it for my b-day, too. ;)

Release date and Blizzard realy don't go together.

Wow will by out when it will be ready. And even Blizzard don't know when.
