Can someone tell me the names of some Druid wearable items that have a Plate Look? I don't care how bad the stats are - this is just for fooling around.

Crystal Chitten, bp, arms, bracers, legs, boots
Brown Chitten Legs
Brown Chitten Protector.
Square Helm.
Ruined Mithral bracer.

actually, the bracer of hammerfall is more the same color as the CC stuff. i had a druid with everyting but the CC BP and he looked SWEET.

Yeah the CC stuff looks awesome, a druid friend of mine had a full set wayyy back during Velious, just great looking. The BP is very hard to come by though. I still check the baz now and then for one.

It's plate and bright yellow. There's a full (visible) set of this armor, if you're crazy enough to farm Sky for it.

I like the fabled RMB, but can't rember if the old RMB has the same look.

Other druid-wearable plate-look BPs (that are more available than Crystal and Golden chitin) there are the Jungle Spider Carapace (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=27839) and the Green Hide Vest (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=14924).

There may be others, but those are relatively common.

if your just going for the look and dont mind cheating with Dye, the Brown Chitin Protector is plate...as is that scarab helmet and boots you can quest from Kaladim.

I used to wear a full Crystal Chitin Set, with a square helm and runed mith bracers. I didn't have my epic yet, think I had bone handled scimmy. I kept on getting requests to tank for groups =P It was neat.

I still have the stuff banked too. The chest piece is very hard to come by, still fetches 20-25k on Veeshan. I wore the set up into my 40's... then I got elysian. I'll see if I can get a screenshot. If I can't find one I'll make a new one =P

I saw a druid with Gaelin`s Woodland Cap, and it had a plate graphic, when I inquired the druid told me that he was able to turn the graphic on and off. My question for this is, what NPC, or by what procedure do you give the cap a plate graphic? Also, can this be done with any other pieces of GoD or other quest armor? If not, I am looking for NICE items with plate graphic for wrists, feet, and possibly arms (aren`t Rowyl`s Metal Armguards plate?)... Thank you.

Theres a quest NPC you can hand in your QVIC helm (only) to and have it changed from no-graphic to graphic and so forth. The NPC text relates to helm only so as far as I know there is no other armor pieces this can be done with (naked toons anyone?)

The name escapes me at the moment as I got a qvic helm to escape a graphic on the zerker. Ill try to find it when I get home if someone doesnt respond sooner.

ok... just trying to finish my goals list... was wondering if anyone knows any decent-great boots and bracer that have a plate graphic? (hoping for above e-boot, rmb quality here :P)

Bracer of FLickering Flames from the Plane of Fire has a plate look. But you need to be Elemental flagged to get it. and have a good size raid.

I wear one, look at my Magelo for the stats cause I'm too lazy to post :P

Gaelin's Woodland Cap ( Qvic Helm ) has a plate look like Square Helm if ya do the quest to activate graphics ( hand it to a guy on the ship in Abysmal.

thanks gus for a good alternative to rowyl`s metal armguards and having to put something together for now ancient content like vulak... would still be nice to find something better than e-boots for feet slot though =)

Yea, Crystal Chitin is probably the easiest plate to get.

If you add a Stronghorn's Horn (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=27200) and a Crown of Deceit (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=11277) to the items listed above, you can convince an awful lot of people that you're a bard. It works great to cut down on random buff request and doubles a pretty cool halloween costume :p

A PoTime hammer and a random shield are also nice for convincing people that youre a cleric.... though why you'd ever want to do that, I don't know. :D

Any danger losing augments while handing in qvic hat for the plate look?
