I know there was a previous signup a week ago, but this MOTD first appeared this morning. Maybe SoE messed up. [Edit - they changed the MOTD again 5 minutes ago, never mind I guess.]

Beta signups were indeed up last night. I saw the systemwide message and signed up right away. I downloaded the files and logged in to the beta server and everything, weeee. And hopefully this isn't super secret beta info, but the zones you need to use to get to the new zones have been down all day and there's been no way to access the new zones unless you were already there it seems lol.

bah! signups were allowed for an hour and a half. What kind of crap is that?

The Signups previous to that were only open for like 20 minutes, advetised via a Brenlo broadcast in game :)

I got accepteance letter and downloaded everything..but i just disconnect after the final load screen.

Looks like this happened again today, but when I received the Email. The link (to the download ftp server) doesn't seem to function properly.

And you had no problems accessing the ftp server website for the downloads?

it might be windows XP if the FTP isnt reponsding.

Try this.

Goto Tools -> Internet Options

then select Advanced Tab

then make sure this is check
[ ] Use Passive FTP

No, I didn't have any problems...but I downloaded it with my linux box. Haven't tried to open it. It just might be an xp issue.
