Why is it that all the enchanters that are capable of doing encounters like say Ikkinz group encounters are such snobby, egoist, a**es for the lack of a better word.

Christ, i've been trying to get through ikk1 to finally hand in all the damn pieces i have on KT step and i can't because no enchanter will group up. As you know this encounter requires an enchanter because of Diabolic Destroyer's adds. I cannot even count the times ive tried with bards.. there are simply more adds than they can handle.

I have helped my guild's enchanters get MANY BIC pieces, especially for their alts as well... and when i need help the most they simply ignore me or out of nowhere they have something to do.

Yesterday i was so pissed off, I spazzed in guild chat. We tried with a bard (again) and wiped 3 times to the damn thing. I asked for some tips in guild chat and the 2 enchanters i helped the most replied with:

Nimchip tells the guild, 'any tips on DD fight?'
Enchanter01 tells the guild, 'he hurts' <---- wow so helpful
Enchanter02 tells the guild, 'what's your group setup'
Nimchip tells the guild, 'we have a bard for mez'
Enchanter02 tells the guild, 'quit exp and come to raid, you're done'

Those 2 answers nearly made me break my frigging keyboard. I don't know what's going on with Enchanters nowadays. I can't even find non-guild ones and the ones that are available are uncapable of passing a tipt/vxed trial without guiding them through like babies and holding their hands.

Wiping to this encounter while Qvic flagged and having Qvic equipment makes me think that the only way to beat it is with an ench. Anyone wanna discuss? Sorry I needed to vent...

What Qvic equipment? Have you not updated your magelo in a while?

AND sometimes i get the Tank snobs that want TWO clerics.. WTF!

Sorry this is happening to you - every class has it's snobbish assholes, they are just more prevelant in the Trinity.

No I haven't. oops! hehe but i am qvic flagged i have 2 pieces (gloves and arms) + bunch of upgrades i have been getting... gotta update that magelo.

I have done ikkinz1 8 times. I've been asked to do it at least another dozen times but refused. On the other hand, i've managed to convince a group to do ikkinz3 once and have never yet gotten a group to try ikkinz2. Any group that does ikkinz1 magically vanishes and its members never resurface if i try to do ikkinz2. I'm never doing another ikkinz1 again until i manage to get ikkinz2, and i imagine a number of enchanters feel the same way.

It really is painful the way some of these encounters really do require certain classes (no, let's ignore Clerics for now please). Some are worse than others of course, you can do Vxed and Tipt without an enchanter for example but I really wouldn't want to try DD without one. Then again, working with barely elemental tanks quite often we do sometimes bring two clerics or at least a cleric + druid.

Still, that's where we are. Certainly I think Enchanters are very, very powerful at present and I'd love to see some other CC classes step up a little bit more. Ironically I also hear many Enchanters becoming upset from the constant desire from people for them to come for these very encounters.

I did Vexd for the first time last night with my enchanter. The pooka was killing yellow mobs in 10 seconds....what enchanter wouldn't love seeing that!?!??! hehe Maybe after 20-40 times it would get old, but it was a rush for me last night. :) Oh and we won the expedition too - first time for any of us in Vexd. So it was an all around happy night. :)

What's my point? Its a rush being needed. Im suprised people don't like helping friends.

Upset that people constantly desire them for some places (vxed, tipt, dd) and would rather pick up every other class (ok maybe not berserker) everywhere else. In the former, people almost won't go without an enchanter. In the latter, its 'ok you can join the group if you can twobox a useful class outside of the group'. And even that doesn't work when its instanced group trials.

I feel your pain. I still need Ikk 1 & 2 also.

I am enjoying it, and the good thing is that we just started on Gates, so when/if we do go back, once I have my Omens charms then charming deep in gates will become viable KT and beyond.

I'm just wondering if Omens will be so good as to make Gates moot. Time will tell I guess.

Everything in KT/Yxxta/Ikkinz is flagged uncharmable not immune by virtue of level. Everything in qvic/txevu (sans events) is too high level so it remains to be seen if they will flag it charm immune after oow.

I'm just wondering if Omens will be so good as to make Gates moot. Time will tell I guess.
I keep wondering if anyone is even gonna bother with raiding uqua+. So much is horribly itemized or just too much time for the reward. Could be an instant ghost town when oow is released.

Find an enchanter that needs help with something in BiC, then in the middle of helping him, ask if he can help you with Ikk1 sometimes, they wont say no, because your in middle of helping, and once they say yes they'll feel much more compelled to do it..

Doing Ikkinz 1 over and over can get sorta frustrating, so i somewhat symphasize with them1

ask some of the other enchanters that raid with you.... We may still need help you know!

Qwal !!! But alas i completed the trial yesterday (we went with Cozha dont know if you know him)... God it was too easy with an ench.

Enchanter twinks are the best. They'll always go camp booring stuff with you and never complain. Perfect for BIC! :grin:
