Stupid Stupid Game. Either clear my que of commands so I dont waste exodus or it goes off first

yes very annoying. I bet it is very high on the list of things to fix. LOL

Worthy enough to be added to the list of top 10 druid issues?

It's not so much an issue as it is a BUG, but I believe that they said they would take a look at this bug (and related bugs for other classes) once they re-did the AA backbone code (which is done.... but OoW coming so obviously fixing bugs that annoy has gotta wait.)

There are several other class AA's that have the same issue (enchanter rune, wizards exodus, etc.). The impression I got when this was mentioned a while back on the Summit boards is that it's not an easy fix...but /shrug, I dunno.

They do know about it.

I thought they said previously that this was a lag issue, i.e., you're fighting, hit exodus, server decides you die, then the exodus message arrives at the server. If this actually the case, then it seems a pretty straightforward matter to at least ameliorate the problem, although I'll grant a complete solution might be more difficult.

This is not an AA-related bug. Happens with FD all the time...hit FD hotkey, die, appear at bind point, flop to ground. Incredibly annoying and lame :).

Happens with ranger WS as well. Annoying as all hell.

Yep, get summoned (or agro a bunch of mobs to pull away from group) pop WS but game decides I have to die anyway, then cuss a few times as I re-apear at my bind point with my only defencive skill down for next hour and 14 minutes.

Its probably more realistically that your dead, and that your client doesnt know, not vice versa.

I bet it goes something like

Server sends message to client: Your Dead
Client Sends Message to Server: Exodus/Weaponshield
Client Recieves Dead message:
Client Zones.
Server Recieve Exodus/Weaponshield Message

Migh be, but usualy if I know I'm running the risk of getting summoned do to other melees droping around me I'll keep my finger over my WS key and pop it soon as I get hit for the first time but still die anyway because WS doesn't go off until 2 or 3 rounds later (usualy lagging a bit, but this has happened when I have no noticable lag). And if it does happen as you describe, it would be nice if they would make escape abilities clear from que uppon death or zone.

It's lame and it's bad programing.
Somewhere there is a que that hold ur request to do exodus.
Either at client side or at server side.
This que wait for you to finish zone and then exacute the command (WS/exodus/FD or anything else), now how hard would it be to check the que while you zone and clear it?
But noooooooo. we have better things to do then fix our game so players will not have reason to be pissed at us every other day.

BTW more then once i seen the message zoneing into "same zone as i was" when casting exodus only to wake up at bind point.

If that's the case, why doesn't innate camo work when I zone? I should end up invis on the other side right?

this is so fun. i did it in WoS the other day when some newb kept training warfriend to MPG ZL. I Swear they shoulda locked 75% of the zones in OoW. Let the casual player complain. They ruin the game by not knowing wth they are doing, well some of em, not all.

I know this was brought up to the devs either during the summit or very soon after the summit. I remember the reply at that time was that a dev was looking into it at that time. It still isn't solved?

I'll pester the devs on the Summit boards again. I think we've had 3 seperate threads about this particular subject so far and AFAIK, no dev has replied yet.
