I just found out tonight that I can no longer quad kite the ButcherBlock Dwarfs (Kaladim Citizen faction). They can no longer be snared or rooted. I saw a couple of them (near Kaladim) had been made into Task Masters, so I suppose that is why they cannot be rooted or snared and since they are on the same faction as the others . . . well you get the idea.

Any suggestions as to where a level 40 Druid can effectively quad kite for good experience?

I did most of 40-42 in the eastern wastes, I think. This was when velious was the latest expansion, so I'm not sure if there are better options that have been added since then.

I know it's their game but damn....is nothing sacred?

I quadded Sunwukong almost all the way up to 65 from 35. EW is a fine place to quad in the low 40's - Those orcs are pretty good yield. Also you can quad dire wolves in Iceclad.

Arg ! This makes me so sad ! My wizzy, druid and necro all had lots of dorf-explodin fun in BB. Some things just shouldn't change !

Are you saying dwarfs other than the task masters are unrootabe / unsnareable? Or is it just the task masters? I can certainly see task masters being hard to kill since having them dead is a PITA for those trying to get tasks.

Hmm this makes me a sad panda.

Were you trying the dorfs near the port in, or in the harbor or were you somewhere else? I cant see any reason for them to make Task Masters near that first hut...I may have to check this out for old times sake.

...if this is true its a sad day indeed =(

There are 12 NPCs on Kaladim Citizen Faction, that I've counted so far. The 2 that are now labeled as Task Masters are right outside the Kaladim Entrance in the newbie area, in a hut. Sorry, I don't remember there names. How do I know they are on Kaladim Citizen? Because I've kited them before and when I con them they Scowl at me, Ready to attack. All of the other dwarves are indifferent to me. Out of curiosity, I checked the 2 dwarf ladies by the grave stones (near the docks) and I got the message that there run speed could not be changed when I tried to ensnare or root them. Also, when I tried to kite them at full speed my lightning strike was resisted about 50% of the time. Hardly worth the trouble now (risk vs reward). I haven't checked the dwarves (den & friends) or the 2 at the end of the docks but I suspect they will be just as dissappointing.
