I see the level 61 root lasts only 1.00. My current root lasts 3.00.

Why would I use the level 61 version? It just does not seem worth it to me.

It is more likely to stick and less likely to break. It casts quickly. In addition, the fact that it lasts 1 minute may be better than 3 min. in some circumstances.

The level 61 root (Earthen Roots) also has a negative resist adjustment, so it can land easier, and is damageless, which can be useful against mobs you dont want to start summoning, and it wont break mez.

It has its uses.

I use my no damage roots exlusively, reason being is that root almost never really lasts for the entire 3 minutes, and also because the no dmg one resists a whole lot less

I only use dmgless root since I do crowd control and sometimes have to root summoners. Just be sure there are no rangers around though since root+ranger+summon=Dead Druid..

Plus, ornate legs = win.
