Me and my ranger girlfriend are both high teens, we were hunting highland lions near the gypsy camp (the scene of my last really weird player interaction) last night cause the skins are going for mega plat...to us anyway. We have one highland 3/4 killed and ready to turn tail, when a high level druid in wolfs clothing casts on him, and suddenly our attacks are doing no damage, the guy walks away with our lion saying "turned him into my pet".

How lame is that? We could all go to a newbie zone right this second and effortlessly, brainlessly mess with the lower level folks... Geez!! The world's lamest form of taking out your agressions. What a dweeb.

Remarkabily the interaction in this game is usually about the increadable kindness of strangers, so something this small and weird seems worth ranting about.

end of rant...

That was very obnoxious of the player and you can do a /report (to report the text where he actually told you that he charmed the mob you were in combat with) and /petition -insert playername here- charmed a mob that I was in combat with.

Granted, the chances of it be dealt with are slim, however if other people have done similar things or this person has a history of being a grief player something might just get done or they might have a warning flagged onto their account. Charming is a great tool and a great ability, it's just a shame that it also comes along with the ability to abuse it.

Thanks. I wouldn't report anything this insignificant, but good info if I run into something more irritating.

Maybe he thought we were in trouble and it was his way of helping....But I always try to heal rather than attack when someone needs help. I think making a pet of our lion was the least helpful option if he thought he was being Mr Helper.
