Our guild is just starting MC, we can make it to Gar in 3 hours, and have not gone past that point but will pass it on Thursday. My question, we normally have 3 + Druids with 5 + priests and 3+ palis. On a strong priest / pali raid I often have time and mana to dps with spells. I am resto/balance with no feral. My attack is 1 moonfire after MT calls out to engage dps, and then just spam Wrath, watching the raid for needed heals. I have been messaged to not Moonfire on Core Hound patrols, ( I only hit the one that we are killing ) and am not sure why this would be a problem. Secondly, other than initial burst, is their any purpose in more than one Moonfire at a time, ( from other Druids) as in do they stack. I assume no they don't but am not sure. Any ideas on why the Moonfiire would be a problem ? I have not pulled aggro with it ever .

Moonfire stacks with other Druids. I don't see a problem nuking core hounds, except to conserve mana for healing. Depending on what type of core hound u get, u might need to raid heal.

This is just a guess - maybe it's taking up debuff slots?

I would talk to the raid leader about it and make sure someones not saying that because they want more dps themselves.

Hmmmm, it was a Warlock that messaged me, so thats a good point, does Moonfire take up a debuff slot ? I have no idea .

I think moonfire takes up a debuff slot.

Speaking of debuffs I think every raid should let the druid keep insect swarm on the bosses especially. The damage isn't good but the 2% miss is.
