Hello,
My name is Bangles, I am currently playing as a NE druid on the server Kilrogg, level 41 druid. I was wondering other druids imputs on leveling as moonkin. Most people say feral is the best tree for leveling alone. But i wondering if anyone has leveled using the Balance tree And moonkin form?

Thanks
Bangles

After 40 I definitely think leveling with balance can be fun, I wouldn't recommend it before that (respec).

Personally, I think Moonkin is the best form for leveling, as you have access to more of your tricks (or at least the ones I enjoy). The massive armor makes solo survivability much higher, but keeping your weapon dps and the casting nukes/ DoT will yield a far higher dps than bear (and in my case even higher than cat). I would recommend you get a good caster dagger or decent 1h mace as any casting resets the swing timer on your weapon (I used hypnotic blade and the off-hand from the SM quest for awhile to great effect).

Don't forget weapon procs work in Moonkin too, so you can use some of the more fun enchants and alchemy oils.

I would go feral form about every 3rd battle to regen mana while keeping up my progress. Even without heavy points in the feral tree those forms can still be quite effective (especially at that level). You will need to make buying drinks a regular part of your life though, particularly for instances where groups won't want you switching up your playstyle every couple fights, but solo the versatility is awesome.

If you are a tauren you still have your Warstomp in Moonkin which can act much like the bash would in bear, and NE still get shadowmeld, which I never found useful solo but can be handy in BGs on Defense (stealthed Moonkin on D).

You can also use items in Moonkin, so things like the PvP trinket can come in handy while solo as well as the ability to drink potions in combat.

If you are interested in balance enough to seriously consider it, I definitely think you would enjoy giving it a try.
